    Beach Landing Excursion (Morning)

    Hop aboard our motorized “Zodiac” style raft “Explorer 1,” and get ready for the excursion of a lifetime! As you speed through the crystal waters of the Na Pali coast with a friendly, experienced guide, you’ll catch amazing views of the incredible cliff lines. You’ll also learn about the history of the area as you make your way through the ancient Hawaiian fishing village at Nualolo Kai State Park. Then, after you stop for a relaxing, complimentary “deli-style” lunch, you’ll get the chance to dive into Hawaiian waters and see its fishy inhabitants for yourself with provided snorkel gear!     Kauai South Shore Sea Kayak Adventure

    After launching from Kukui'ula Small Boat Harbor, you'll pass the famous Spouting Horn, a remarkable salt-water blowhole. After about 45 minutes, you'll surf your kayaks up on the beach at Lawa'i Kai, the exquisitely beautiful site of Queen Emma's Summer Home. Take a stroll on the beach and enjoy a hot cup of coffee and delicious muffins.

    You'll continue downwind, past the white sand beaches, barrier reefs, and volcanic craters of Palama's Point. As you paddle, you'll be hoping to see interesting marine life, such as the spinner dolphin or endangered sea turtle, both common in this area. During the months of November through April, you also run the chance of getting a glimpse of migratory humpback whales.

    After 7 miles (11km) of paddling, you'll be ready for lunch. You'll land at Wahi'awa, a protected bay, to relax, eat, and explore. You'll have the opportunity to comb the ¼ mile (0.4km) crescent-shaped sandy paradise, play in the water and snorkel the fringes of the bay. Meanwhile, your guide will lay out a tasty picnic lunch with a scrumptious brownie that may inspire an afternoon nap!

    Around mid-afternoon after another brief paddle, your driver will arrive to whisk you away on your return to the Poipu resort area.

    This tour is seasonal and operates only from September to May

    Kayak Tour

    Not all the watersports in Hawaii take place on the beach. Head upriver during this guided kayak escape and discover just how much fun there is to be had inland! Not only is the Wailua River the only navigable stream in the whole of Polynesia, it also offers relatively little current, making it the perfect site for a leisurely escape into nature. After a brief training orientation, you’ll be off and paddling. Two miles of upstream adventure await! After passing an old Hawaiian Village, you’ll arrive at a North Fork island. Once you’ve secured your kayak, you’ll continue your adventure on foot, finding yourself immersed in the tropical rain forest of the Wailua River Valley. There, pristine canyons and isolated waterfalls await your exploration. Bring lunch and take some time to rest up for your trip back!

    Guided Reef Diving Tour

The tour will start with a straightforward knowledge and skill development session. Then, you will dive in small groups at a local dive site, where you will put to action the skills and safety information you learned. You can see more in 10 minutes in the water than than you can in 10 hours on land.     Whale Watching

    It should be obvious -- you’ll have a whale of a time on this tour!     Napali and Ni'ihau Snorkel Cruise

    Your Kauai snorkeling trip aboard a 65 foot (20 meter) motor-powered catamaran begins with a continental breakfast while you head north-west along the majestic Napali coast in search of waterfalls, lush valleys and sea caves. After sightseeing and hearing about the history of the coast, you'll head across the channel to the Forbidden Island, Ni'ihau, to enjoy the best snorkeling in Kauai. Your helpful crew will provide all the assistance and instruction you need, to help you simply relax, float and watch the comings and goings of the magical aquatic world. Carved by ocean currents and waves for centuries, no other place in Hawaii offers such unique formations. After your Kauai snorkeling adventure, you'll enjoy a gourmet deli-style buffet lunch. Choose from a variety of deli meats, cheeses, veggies and breads to make your own sandwich. Also included are potato salad, pasta and fresh fruits. Assorted soft drinks are served throughout the tour, and beer and wine are served after Kauai snorkeling.

    During your meal, you'll have the opportunity to enjoy an entertaining story about the island, the people and the history of Ni'ihau.

    Travel in comfort on a state-of-the-art 65-foot motor powered catamaran designed specifically for Kauai's ocean conditions with safety, comfort and efficiency in mind. Certified for 65 passengers, only 49 are carried daily. The catamaran has a full service galley and bar, two large marine lavatories, fresh water showers and a large cabin. Outside there are two oversized trampolines and seating in the front and back of the vessel.

    Na Pali Coast Snorkel, Hike and Picnic

    Enjoy an incredible 6-hour expedition along Kauai’s Na Pali Coast. Meet at Kekaha and leave the modern world behind as you dart in and out of sea caves, plunge under cascading waterfalls, and encounter the dramatic peaks and majestic valleys of the Na Pali Coast.

    Land on Nualolo Kai, a remote beach, for hiking and snorkeling (weather permitting). Take a guided hike to the ruins of an 800-year-old Hawaiian fishing village, and explore the same thriving reef ecosystem that supported the ancient Hawaiians.

    Spend approximately 3 hours rafting, 2 hours snorkeling and 1 hour on the beach. A boxed lunch including a sandwich of smoked turkey, ham or salami on freshly baked French bread, chips and a chocolate- chip cookie is included, in addition to beverages throughout the tour.
