    Segway Sightseeing Tour

Take a guided Segway tour through Atlanta's historic neighborhoods such as Downtown, Cabbagetown, Old Fourth Ward and Inman Park. Stop at landmarks like the Martin Luther King Jr. National Historic Site and the Oakland Cemetery, and admire innovative developments such as the Atlanta Beltline. Traveling by Segway allows you to cover more ground than walking and stay close to the action for an unforgettable sightseeing tour of Atlanta. Once you meet your guide in downtown Atlanta, or at your hotel with the pickup upgrade, start your tour by receiving 15-30 minutes of Segway training. When your group feels comfortable, hop on your two-wheel transport and set out to see Atlanta! You'll have plenty of opportunities to stop for photos and to ask questions of your friendly and knowledgeable guide along the way. Glide through Downtown Atlanta to the Cabbagetown neighborhood and hear about its transformation from small mill town to an artist haven with terrific restaurants. Keep an eye out for colorful street murals as you go. Continue to the historic Oakland Cemetery, the final resting place of many of Atlanta's most notable citizens, and take in its architectural flourishes and peaceful gardens. Then hop over to the Old Fourth Ward and the Martin Luther King Jr. National Historic Site, which commemorates the famous civil rights leader. Pass the red brick walls of the venerable Ebenezer Baptist Church, where Dr. King, his father, and grandfather all served as ministers. In the 1960s, the church evolved into a spiritual haven for civil rights activists. Next, visit Inman Park, once the site of legendary Civil War battles. Marvel at the grand old homes -- the area was also part of the first-planned Atlanta suburb in the late 19th century -- as you snap photos. Then travel along part of the innovative Atlanta Beltline, a former 22-mile (35-km) railroad corridor that is being redeveloped into a network of public parks and multi-use trails. It's yet another example of the treasures to be found in this dynamic city! During your journey around Atlanta's neighborhoods and quieter streets, you'll gain an understanding of the city's past and present while learning fun facts from your experienced guide. Alec S.
  • Vimbly is the best! It is super convenient and makes trying new things easy. The classes they link you up with are extraordinary facilities that exceed expectations. I could not be happier after discovering Vimbly. A++
    Ayanna M.
  • I have taken two tours with Vimbly and am looking forward to many more in the future! They have a wide variety of opportunities, many of which I would never have thought of doing. Both tours that I attended were well organized, interesting, and fun. I look to Vimbly for ideas and activities when I want to find something fun to do.
    Karen R.
  • Used Vimbly 3 times now: booked a Knife Skills class at Institute of Culinary Education, booked tickets to Improvised Shakespeare (HOW DID THEY EVEN GET ACCESS TO THESE???), and booked tickets to an Improv show at the Upright Citizen's Brigade. Really simple and efficient way to find something to do and book it right away without ever having to pick up a phone. I like that you can search by date and also category.
    Amanda K.
  • As far as a rating, I'd absolutely give your site a 10. It's easy to use, easy to find whats upcoming, unambiguous and concise. It's something my mother could use without calling me seven times with questions. I've already pointed some friends to the site, and you can be sure I'll be using it in the future.

  • I already have recommended it to a friend! Several in fact. The site is such a good idea and I love how the people at Church Street knew we were coming and treated us like their own customers and not coupon redeemers. My girlfriend and I will definitely be going back there and are already looking on your site for what to do next weekend.
    Evan W.
  • Easily one of the best dates I've been on, and I have Vimbly to thank for the idea. Planning to use it again while I'm in the city for the next month, and already reminded my coworkers about it.
