Standing at the entrance to Death Valley, your first exploration/photo-stop on this amazing adventure is the old ghost town of Rhyolite, a long-abandoned gold mining community and the set for many movies and documentaries. Then you will be driven down a beautiful winding highway and enter the center of Death Valley from the east to see endless desert, vast valleys, harshly sculpted peaks, garish colors, and superbly adapted plants and animals.
Death Valley has the driest, hottest climate on the planet. You’ll capture the view of the valley from Hell's Gate, well above the valley floor. Then you’ll visit Badwater at 282 feet below sea level. You’ll also enjoy the views with stops at Zabriskie Point, the Devil's Golf Course, the Furnace Creek Museum, the Salt Lake, the sand dunes, and Artist's Pallet. The majestic mountains, colorful canyons, volcanic craters and salt pinnacles all make this trip a photographic-sightseer's dream come true.
Note: This trip includes lunch, unlimited bottled water and snacks, and professional guides. Please include the hotel you will be staying at for hotel pick-up, your weight and height, and your choice of lunch (Turkey, Ham, or Veggie) in the special requests box.
