This South Rim escapade starts at your hotel, where you’ll be picked up in a 12-passenger jeep redesigned for luxury touring. You’ll travel along infamous Route 66 through the scenic Mojave Desert, enjoying mountain vistas and stories of the area’s settling along the way.
Arriving at the Grand Canon, your first stop will be Bright Angel Lodge, whose historic cabins are seated just feet away from the rim. As such, you’ll enjoy sweeping views into the Canyon itself, where the Colorado River winds its way south nearly a mile below. The photogenic views continue at Mather and Yavapai Points, with enhanced overlooks designed for ease of observation. You’ll also enjoy the interactive experience provided by Yavapai Museum, where you’ll learn about the millions-of-years history behind the canyon.
