Which end does the bullet come out of again? This introductory class will give you the basic understanding you need to effectively discharge a handgun. You'll begin with a classroom lecture, wherein you'll cover the pros and cons of common types of handguns, basic marksmanship fundamentals, and firearm nomenclature, safety, and maintenance. Following the class and before you hit the range, you'll work through "dry" drills that ease you into handling your firearm. Then it's time for live-fire work, where you'll put everything you learned to practice in a series of drills. By the time you're finished with this class, you'll be feeling much more confident handling a handgun. Now if you could just stop yelling "bang" every time you pull the trigger.
Note: The age minimum for classes is 21 and you have to be 21 to purchase ammunition. This class requires a handgun, 50 rounds, and a gun case, which can be rented.
