  • Visit famous locations, including Ubehebe Crater, Furnace Creek Ranch Museum, Badwater, and Rhyolite Ghost Town
  • Explore the magnificent Mojave Desert and the Spanish-style Scotty's Castle
  • Learn about the local landscape, environment, and history from a professional tour guide
Your Death Valley adventure begins with a complimentary continental breakfast in Beatty, Nevada, your first stop in the Mojave Desert. Then it's on to Scotty's Castle, where your castle guide will take you back in time. After your 60-minute guided tour of the castle, you will have 30 minutes of free time to explore the castle grounds and enjoy a complimentary picnic lunch served in the grounds of Scotty's Castle.

After lunch you will continue on to your third stop, Ubehebe Crater. The crater is all that remains from a volcanic eruption that was so violent, the volcano itself was destroyed. Then it's on to Furnace Creek Ranch Museum, where you can learn about the history of Death Valley. Next stop is Badwater, the lowest spot in North America, at 282 feet (85 meters) below sea level, with a permanent spring-fed pool where you actually can walk on the salt flats. Your final stop on the tour is at Rhyolite Ghost Town.
