    Practiced for centuries by samurai warriors in feudal Japan, Iaido is the ancient art of sword fighting. Under the guidance of your expert instructor, you will learn the stances, postures, strikes, and blocks that come together to make up forms and patterns. As you practice, you will gain strength in your arms, core, and legs, in addition to better physical endurance. You will also find yourself becoming more centered and focused, with better self-discipline and poise. This class does not include any live sparring, but instead focuses on the techniques and philosophies of Iaido as an art form, rather than as a martial practice.
