This experience begins on the legendary and very well-known Route 66 in West Hollywood, then goes through Beverly Hills and Bel-Air to have a panorama of the extravagant and incredible palaces the Hollywood stars call home. Up next are LA's world-famous beach towns of Santa Monica, Venice & Marina Del Rey. Not stopping at that, you'll bike through Culver City for a bike-by of the historic movie studios that put the City of Angels on the world map. There is time to rest with several breaks, including lunch on the beach and several walking tours along the way. This 32-mile, 6-hour excursion, which lets you enjoy the very best of LA leaving no sight unseen is definitely worthy of "bucket list" inclusion.
Note: This bike ride is of intermediate difficulty. Tour includes an expert tour guide, high-end hybrid road bike (of course!), safety equipment (helmet & vest), and a souvenir eco-friendly water bottle. There is $400 deposit per bike to be paid upon arrival to cover any damages or loss to the bike

A deposit of 50% is used to confirm services for the requested date. Cancellation notice must be provided at least 30 days in advance in order to receive a full refund. You may reschedule if at least 14 days notice is provided. There are no refunds if cancelled within 72 hours. There is a 50% cancellation fee if notice is given with 14 days to 72 hours.

Movie Star Homes GPS Self-Guided Bike Tour June 14, 2017L.A is home and I love to bike, a friend suggested this and how I wish I had done it SOONER! What a fantastic point of view from one of the BEST cities in the world. Our guide David was the perfect guide with immense knowledge of the city and historical facts I never knew.
The routes are well planned and are great through tough traffic areas.
The bikes are brand new and B&H L.A. provide everything you need.
I will HIGHLY recommend this to friends, family and clients. I look forward to doing it again. -

LA in a Day Bike Tour April 12, 2017Wow what a ride! I would recommend bike shorts on the tour as the seats are not cushioned. This is definitely the best way to see a lot of the city. Also this is not a novice ride the hills took out a few in our group. Being an experienced rider is a plus. Staff was great and very well versed in the city. Our group was Chase and Lindsay.

Movie Star Homes GPS Self-Guided Bike Tour February 15, 2017This is a must do for Angelenos looking to see the city in a new way, or anyone visiting LA! My tour guide Eric was fabulous, and did an excellent job as our guide. I was able to get my work out for the day, some fresh air, and do a "stay-cation".

LA in a Day Bike Tour February 11, 2017During my trip to LA I did the LA in a day bike tour and it was amazing!! We had a great guide who was able to share a lot of historical information and tell it with great passion. The ride is long, about 6 hours (32 miles), but you get to see sooo much of LA like Beverly Hills, Bel-Air, Santa Monica, Venice, Culver City and everything in between. I would recommend this to anyone looking for a fun way to see and explore the city without having to get stuck in traffic!!

Hollywood Bike Adventure Tour January 14, 2017Absolutely amazing experience!!!! My husband and I were on our honeymoon and this was one of the most memorable and worth it experiences. We did a private tour with our awesome private tour guide (Mina) and she was so delightful and inspired us with insightful information and she was so knowledgeable on everything. She was a great guide!!!!!!! The picnic lunch was great, the sights and stops were out of this world, and the information we learned and the pictures we took will last us forever! Hollywood Bike Adventure Tour November 16, 2016The LA in a Day tour sounded great but I knew trying to share the experience with a number of people, with potentially different fitness levels, could be a problem, so I booked a private tour. Kyle was our guide and he did a great job. He had a lot of knowledge about the different areas and the things we saw. My husband and I really enjoyed our day. We got a lot of exercise, saw a lot of different things / neighborhoods, and had a nice lunch at the beach. Great experience!

Hollywood Bike Adventure Tour August 16, 2016Bikes and Hikes LA is amazing. I took the LA in a Day and it didn't disappoint me. The people in the office were really nice when they were signing me in. We ate lunch at Venice beach and it was amazing. My guide was so knowledgeable and kind. He really showed his interest in all of us and made sure we were comfortable during the entire ride. This tour made me see so much and i enjoyed every second of it. I'll definitely do another tour with them when i'm back in town!

Hollywood Bike Adventure Tour August 16, 2016This is a MUST-DO in LA! The tour guides are super friendly and enthusiastic, and provide so much valuable information throughout the tour. Our tour guide Danny was extremely professional and accommodating. He took us to so many places you wouldn't get to see on a normal bus tour and was super informative.
I can't wait to try more of these tours - they're great with groups or even solo! -

Movie Star Homes GPS Self-Guided Bike Tour May 24, 2016Excellent bike tour! Our tour guide was Jonno and he was extremely friendly and helpful. Our bike tour had 3 people in total (plus the guide). The bike tour always went at our own pace, and Jonno was always happy to stop whenever we wanted to take photos, or if we had problems (for example, someone lost their phone at the beach so Jonno went back with the other person to help find it). There are great sights of Beverly Hills and many other places that won't be covered by big bus tours. There's a stopover for lunch at Venice Beach, and the tuna wrap and smoothie were absolutely amazing. You also get to keep a Bikes and Hikes LA water bottle. Highly recommended!

Hollywood Bike Adventure Tour May 9, 2016Native to Los Angeles but wanted a family day out. It was a long..long ride but definitely worth it. Our guide Danny was awesome! I'd never visited most of the places we cycled to or cycled past. Danny provided lots of information throughout the day. They provided a filled water bottle & Danny carried extra bottles. My suggestions to riders are to have a SMALL hydration pack (camelback) & wear cycle shorts. If they say you won't need the hydration pack..take it anyway.

Hollywood Bike Adventure Tour February 22, 2016A different way to sightsee the LA/Hollywood area and I highly recommend Bikes and Hikes! I was in town visiting my daughter (UCLA student) and wanted to do some sightseeing, but I didn't want to join your typical tour group which I had previously done in years' past. I had seen ads and read about Bikes and Hikes and so happy that we did it! Eric was our private guide and was superb. We enjoyed all his interesting and fun stories and history. Next time I visit, I will definitely sign up for this tour with the rest of my family!

Hollywood Bike Adventure Tour August 17, 2015What a fun way to spend the day. Our guide SJ was fantastic and even though most of us were born and raised in LA we learned so much about the history of our neighborhoods. Great bikes, great guide, great locations to visit all made our biking adventure a blast. Everyone was so helpful and accommodating. Couldn't ask for a better experience. Definitely recommend!!!

LA in a Day Bike Tour March 25, 2015I took the LA in a day tour yesterday, with Erick and Kyle as tour guides. They knew a lot about the city and lots of information. Some of the participants were from Argentina and Erick was able to translate everything for them, which was very nice.
Even tough the tour took longer than expected, I had a lot of fun and I saw many neighborhoods in LA. I would recommend this this tour to everyone! -
