Single Jump Package June 3, 2017If you never jumped before then you should definitely try. The instructors are very funny and very good at what they do. The experience is exciting and i would rec to anyone.
That 10 mile hike. Going up isn't THAT bad but its the hike back that's torturous. You leave the bridge on your own whenever you are done with the jump. If you get lost , just follow the river downstream Make sure to pack plenty of water and some food. The hike is 2 hours long. You'll get to the bridge by 950 and the jumps will start around 10:30. -

Double Jump Package May 8, 2017Bungee Jumping has been something my husband and I have always wanted to do and yesterday we were finally able to cross it off our bucket lists! Bungee America gave us such an incredible experience! the hike itself to/from the bridge is so much fun having to go through the river a few times. The staff was great... they were so nice, made us laugh, and feel very comfortable jumping. The bridge to nowhere was such a cool spot to jump off of; the only regret we have is not jumping more than once! Thank you guys for such a fun day! We will be back :)

Five Jump Package March 9, 2017I tagged along with a group to watch them jump off of a bridge. Crazy people. There was no way that I'd join. I thought it would be a good time to hike with them to the bridge as I am a huge nature and hiking fan. We arrived in the parking lot of the forest and by the way the drive up is beautiful. It was pretty early in the morning. We hiked for a bit and stopped to snack and drink some water. I was prepared to get my feet wet, but holy cow we dipped chest deep into a large creek. I would advise to bring water socks to change into so you're not hiking with wet feet. I won't spoil the beautiful hike with details but def bring a camelback as this hike is intense. Once at the bridge the crew with filter stream water for you to drink. I watched everyone jump and saw how safe everything was and seeing how no one got hurt I then decided to jump. Amazing. The best thing I've ever done in my life. I'm terrified of heights and the crew is so comforting and encouraging. They got everyone to chant and clap for me before I let go and fell back.
Overall I would do it again. The crew is amazing and the other jumper people were great company. Beautiful hike and great workout. Def bring a GoPro with you. Price is decent as well and the more jumps you do the cheaper it gets. -

Triple Jump Package January 17, 2017From start to finish the bungee America team made sure that we were well prepared for the long day. And day of our jump on January 15 the whole team was awesome.
Before our jump day Bungee America continuously made sure we were aware that the hike involved crossing rivers and before my friend and I went they sent a final email before our jump and hike informing us to wear proper shoes, dress warm because the high would be around 65 if we were lucky, that the water was higher considering the rain and to be sure to prepare for a full day. Any uncomfortable equipment a person may have is on them. The team is attentive but they aren't your baby sitters. They give clear and awesome easy to follow instructions.
Day of they were all about our safety including figuring out the best parts to cross the river and the safest trails to take, the hike is long but easy and the most difficult part was just the river crossing ( this coming from someone who avoids and hates physical activity). Abraham was our hike leader with Nicole trailing behind to make sure no one was left behind, and at the bridge Chris was getting all our gear ready making sure it was safe they were so lovely. They kept us informed the whole hike to how close we were. As we got to the jump site the team was very reassuring about fears some would have about the jump but were all about making sure we were safe as we jumped and reassured the nervous ones. I would 100% do this again -

Triple Jump Package January 8, 2017By far this has been the best experience ever! I jumped my way into 2017 with checking off my bucket list and bungee jumping happened to be the first I checked off. Thank you bungee America for this experience!
I went on a rainy day so there wasn't that many people in my group so I would think the river was colder and higher than the usual. I am 5'6 and the river passed a little over my knee so if you're going on a rainy day I high recommend you to take extra clothes.
The hike was a tiny bit much more challenging than what I expected but then again I don't really hike much and I survived.
The jump... the jump was beyond fucking amazing! I also got to meet great people and on top of that the instructors are great and professional! I wouldn't have had it any other way... I enjoyed every second of it.
The only tip I would like to give for who ever is reading this review is.. please follow the directions they send you through email so you won't get lost. Also, you WILL lose service so be prepared of 5 hours without Instagram/twitter/ and Snapchat lol other than that I had a BLAST!!!! -

Double Jump Package December 24, 2016Best adventure in SoCal
Thanks Bungee America, this is best full day adventure in So-Cal. An easy hike to see a historic bridge in the middle of nowhere and then bungee jumping of the bridge, that is so amazing. The bungee America crew and instructors are doing a great job. I have done it 2 times already in 2 years and have tried all the different kind of jumps they offer. Let me break down the full day adventure.
Registration
They only operate on the weekends and if there is a big group they also accommodate on weekdays. One thing I haven’t tried so far is the night bungee jumping, now that would be so awesome. Camping for the night and then jumping off the bridge in pitch dark at night. You have 2 options of registering and paying for the jumps and hike. I like registering and paying for it before you start the hike online and you get a discount too on the jumps, I got the 5 jump package last time which costed $250. You will be hiking 10 miles so better jump more than once, I highly recommend getting the 3 or 5 jump package. You can also hike with the bungee America group by paying $10 fees and pay for the jumps on the spot but I believe that’s like $100 per jump. Also if you pay before you can finish all the paperwork before itself
Hike
Now this is not so difficult hike for a total of 10 miles, 5 miles each way. You can either hike with the group or alone. If this is your first time I highly recommend hiking with the group or you will get lost. You can return by yourself if you finished jumping early. I have hiked this trail in fall and spring, and it gets hot so make sure you carry lots of water and food, as there is no food available on trail, though Bungee America does provide water near the bridge if you are hiking with the group. Please do carry trash bags as well, to avoid littering on the trail. Be prepared to cross atleast 5-6 small water streams, so wear shoes accordingly and if possible get an extra pair if you don’t prefer jumping barefoot.
Bungee Jumping
The most rewarding part about the hike is jumping of the bridge which is about 120 feet. Now they have 5 different styles of jumps and the most famous ankle jump, well first you have to atleast complete the basic jumps with courage and confidence then you are eligible for ankle dive. So they have 2 basic jumps superman front dive and backward jump, then the advanced jumps elevator drop, front and back lumberjack and the ankle dive. I highly recommend getting the 3 or 5 jump package. Do not just get 1 jump and pay for it online before so you save a lot. Bungee has excellent safety record, and they give you proper instructions before making that first jump, so get out there and start jumping and trust me you will have the time of your life. They have two bungee jumping platforms and they have categorized the jump according to your weight as they use different type of cords for different weight category.
Videography
Now recently they have started to offer the video package where they capture your jump from 3 different angles, now if you are only visiting once highly recommend getting the video package, as the mobile phone doesn’t capture the jump very well. You are welcome to carry your go pro and their camera angles are very well strategically placed for awesome videos. -

Triple Jump Package November 14, 2016I went on a whim. I decided the night before that I would do this. I've never hiked more than 5 miles so this was going to be a challenge. We did stop half way to eat and rest. Chris and his fellow workers were all awesome. They were all very nice and friendly. I did 3 jumps and Nicholas was awesome. He made me very comfortable and I wasn't scared at all. Maybe just a little. He gave me different options for my third jump which was considered an advanced jump. I would love to go back soon.

Single Jump Package October 9, 2016My dream has been to reenact Alicia Silverstone's bungee jump scene in Aerosmith's music video, "Crazy." Bungee America made my dream come true! I highly recommend this experience. Trust me I'm a stranger and I have candy.
The day started at the Bridge to nowhere trailhead at 7:30am. I'm an avid hiker/ alcoholic who showed up a little late due to a night of heavy drinking and then a last min stop for McDonald's breakfast. So I must say the 5mile hike to the bridge was really easy. It's beautiful!
Don't be a noob, make sure u bring your water. They have a water filter at the bridge for all jumpers to use. I read another yelp review of a hiker complaining about the staff not allowing him to use the filter. That's a bunch a BS! Besides, in my opinion if you show up to an easy hike with no water then you deserve to earn the Darwinian Award. We don't need your weak genes muddying up the gene pool.
The staff is Amazing!!!! I can't say it enough. They are hilarious! Nicole is super cool! She led the hike and made the experience that much more enjoyable. Thanks so much Nicole! Everyone is really profesh and the jump is super safe. My "Million Dollar Baby" kill pact I made with my sister in case either one of us became paralyzed was completely unnecessary.
In conclusion, I highly recommend this jump and company. The jump was a complete adrenaline rush! I can't wait to do it again. And remember, bring water, pick up your trash, and tip the staff.
Thank you Bungee America, I'll see you soon! -

Single Jump Package September 12, 2016Before kids, I would say I was kind of a daredevil and an adrenaline junkie. I lived for it and loved driving fast, racing, roller coasters, sky diving, and yes, even bungee jumping. So when we were invited by friends to go bungee jumping in 2006, I went. We got a hotel nearby the night before, got up early to meet up with everyone, got weighed and measured our heights and we were off to go hiking.
We hiked 5 miles each way, 10 miles total, and cutting through streams and plants (yucca plants cut your legs, so don't wear shorts like I did!), and then we finally arrived at the bridge. Bridge to Nowhere is a bridge above a stream with boulders below. If bungee jumping wasn't nerve racking already, bungee jumping over boulders and streams will make it that much scarier for you.
I've always been a bit afraid of heights but I overcame it here. There were only two people from our group that didn't jump. We spent the day pulling each person up and then hiked back 5 miles after a long day. I woke up the next morning not being able to move my legs but it was the best experience ever.
Would I do it again? Yes! I think it's something everyone should try, at least once. -

Single Jump Package August 24, 2016Beautiful hike through Azusa mountains that concludes in an exciting bungee jumping experience.
I'd rate the hike itself 4/5 because, beautiful scenery aside, it's hot as hell and there isn't much in the way of shade. But that's not really anyone's fault so it will not affect my overall review.
I'd rate the hike guide a 5/5 because they planned our route well and had an awesome sense of humor.
I'd rate the jump itself 5/5. Very professionally done + well explained. You'd really have to be a doofus to mess it up. And if you don't mess it up, you;re in for an awesome jumping experience. Would highly recommend this place to beginners. -

Five Jump Package July 11, 2016What an amazing experience! Between the gorgeous hike there (and back--which of course is where it gets tough), bungeeing off a bridge into a ravine, and then being able to relax in the pools of water below. This was a birthday excursion me and my friends will never forget!
The staff were amazing. They were obviously seasoned pros and made everyone feel comfortable and used a lot of humor to lighten the mood. We drove up from San Diego which meant we had to be up super early for their 7:30 AM hike start time but it was well worth it! Absolute A+. -

Five Jump Package June 2, 2016Best part of trip to LA
A few important things to know before taking this trip:
- You have to be 30 minutes north of Azusa by 7:30 in the morning
- There is no cell phone service starting just north of Azusa
- You hike 5 miles to and from the jump, crossing water 6 times each way
- You need to pack water and snacks for the trip
- You won't be back at the parking lot till 2PM at best
OK, once you accept all that, its the best day you are going to have on your trip. The hike was absolutely beautiful, lots of great photo opportunities on the way. The staff are the absolute best, talked the whole hike, the safety presentation was given by Chris who might be a professional comedian on his off days, and they really made you feel comfortable the whole time. Their jumping gear was new, the bridge was covered from the sun, just an all around great day. Highly recommended. -

Five Jump Package May 2, 2016YOU MUST DO THIS!
This was an absolutely amazing experience. By the end of the day I was so exhausted but it was so worth it.
The day starts at 730. You meet at the parking lot. They weigh you in and give everyone arm bands. Then starts the 6 mile hike, which they told us was 5 but my pedometer doesn't lie. The hike is moderate. You cross a river 6 times. I wore old sneakers and they worked out just fine. There's some uphill climbs but nothing crazy. They break for 15 minutes after 1 hour of hiking. You finally get to the bridge at about 11. They divide you up by weight class (under 135, 135 to 185, and over 185) so that you have the correct bungee cord. Then it's first come first serve.
They give you a few options for how to jump. I bought the two jump (and I HIGHLY recommend getting 2 jumps, not 1) and I did 1 starfish and 1 forward jump. It's the most exhilarating thing I have ever done by far. Make sure someone gets you on video when you jump!
After you jump, you can hike back alone or wait for the entire group. Another 2 hours back.
Seriously though. You must go. -

Triple Jump Package May 2, 2016OMG, what an amazing experience
We were looking to take a group of 8 for a unique growth experience and we hit a home run on this trip. The journey started with a 10 mile hike through the valley from the parking lot to the Bridge to Nowhere. Our group guide met us in the parking lot and made the trek along with us. Upon arrival we had a bungee jumping safety class on the bridge and then the fun began.
Each member of our group had an opportunity to jump 3 times (we booked s private group jump package for $1000). There are no words that can adequately describe the experience other than it was incredible. Each jump we were given the option to try different types of jumps which enhanced the experience even more. Our instructors were very knowledgeable and they take your safety very seriously. This is a first class operation and I highly recommend it to anyone who can make the 10 mile hike to and from the bridge. -

Single Jump Package April 24, 2016Where do I begin?! The entire experience from beginning to end was great! The 5 mile hike in was beautiful and not to tough. The jump school instructor was funny and did a great job presenting. The jump time did take long-- just as they warned, it does take a whole day. Watching other jumpers was fun and once your time comes, it comes and goes FAST! I recommend jumping forward-- it was easy and I would do it again. This of course doesn't compare to sky diving. Bottom line, the crew was great, I lived through my jump, and the hike was beautiful!

Double Jump Package April 17, 2016First off the staff was amazing!!! Nicole lead to group on the hike there and she kept an excellent pace! She was super sweet! We cane right at 730 am so we just checked in at the bridge which was no big deal.
I think who made the whole experience though I have to say was Chris... He was sooo funny during the "jump school" portion. And was crackin jokes left and right and made you forget you were about to jump off a bridge. Abraham helped make u feel calm before you jump and reminds you to supppermannn when you jump.
Tips- YOU WILL GET UR FEET WET.. Bring an extra pair socks and change before you hike back it helped a lot.
-Also, a hat helped a lot.
-I carried a whole gallon of water for my bf and I and used that with another water bottle.
- Dont forget sunscreen!! -

Triple Jump Package March 21, 2016SO MUCH FUN!
Okay to start off the staff is AMAZING ! super nice , informative &&a funny ! It's a great time to say the least ! I would go back just to do the hike also , so pretty.! I would bring an extra pair of socks for the hike back , just because you do get your feet wet a lot. If I could give them more stars I would. Owner is super nice as well! Good job bungee America staff ! -

Double Jump Package January 1, 2016I am really shocked how much I loved this experience. I have the bungee America staff to thank for that. They have fun doing what they do and that helps us have fun. I thought it would be really hard to jump off a bridge and this team made it somewhat effortless. They also made the 5 miles hike enjoyable. I was worried that there would be a number of slow hikers but the guides helped keep a steady pace. You do cross a river 6 times and you do just walk right through the water (even though we are in a drought, there is still a river). Pack socks and shoes to change into when you are waiting to jump. In the winter the bridge doesn't get much sun and you won't be able to dry out your socks. Also, if you are even questioning jumping twice, buy your jumps before you go. They are more expensive if you add them there. It is also so much fun and you will want to jump again.
One more thing- there are no bathrooms once you leave the parking lot. If you have issues going outside then you will need to get over it or plan on not going to the bathroom from 7:30 am to 2:00pm. -

Five Jump Package October 29, 2015By far the most exhilarating experience of my life! I surprised my boyfriend and took him here for his birthday. He thought we were going on a hike.... woopsies? We both had a blast! I'll be honest, as a first time bungee jumper I spent previous weeks scared out of my freaking mind. Heart pounding, palms sweaty, tummy growling- so maybe the tummy part was because I was hungry, but I had so many scary thoughts that I couldn't tell the difference! Upon arrival, I asked our two staff tons of questions and they quickly made me feel at ease. They were super rad and made tons of jokes getting everyone hyped up.
The hike is at a moderate level with some steep uphill climbs. It's 10 miles round trip so it's important you come prepared, especially if you're going in hot weather. We crossed the river 12 times total, and the water was a great way to cool off.
The jump itself was pure bliss. I only jumped once after hearing the famous words of "3-2-1-BUNGEEEEEEEE", and I did the Superman Front Dive. Surprisingly, the experience was very smooth! Even though I screamed like a baby, there was no whiplash or uncomfortable feeling of any sort. During the free fall, I felt like I was floating slowly through the air. It was a surreal moment that I highly recommend.
TIPS:
1. Don't rely on Google Maps/Waze once you reach the San Gabriel Mountains! My directions were wrong and we were almost late. Make sure you bring the directions that are given to you directly from Bungee America.
2. Comfortable closed toed hiking shoes are a must. They'll also get soaked so be prepared.
3. Bring enough water to last all day.
4. Bring lunch and snacks. You'll have time to eat it on the bridge and after the jump.
5. Fear exists only in your mind. If you're going to bungee anywhere, this is the safest place to do it. I felt 100% safe and would encourage all my loved ones to take the plunge. Don't think. Don't look down. Just jump!
6. Don't forget your go-pro/camera. This is an experience of a lifetime and the scenic trails are breathtaking.
7. FYI if you don't want to wait for the entire group to finish their jumps, the staff gives you the option to hike back by yourself. Just make sure to follow the river and it will take you back to the East Fork parking lot.
8. Our group met at 7:30 am (don't be late), and we made it back to the car around 3:30 pm. I'd recommend keeping your entire day free just to be on the safe side. -

Single Jump Package June 12, 2015BEST part of our trip!
The Bungee America team is super friendly and just as serious about your safety -- which is a GREAT thing. They want you to have a blast and keep you safe at the same time.
Few suggestions:
1) The 5-mile hike is no joke... so be ready for it.
2) If you can, choose the 6am time slot so you're hiking when it's cooler (at least getting to the bridge).
3) Do more than 1 jump (the first one you're getting over the fear, the 2nd you're enjoying the ride)
4) get out on the ledge and JUMP... don't hesitate and don't look down
5) trust the team... they're going to keep you safe
6) hang out to watch and encourage others
7) don't go crazy snapping GoPro video and pictures of the hike into the bridge. Save your batteries for the jump.
7) BRING water and snacks (and a bag to put your trash in)
8) ENJOY THE RIDE!!! -

Not sure of the name of the lady instructor but she was quite a beautiful and charming woman;) Also if you have time, take your car up or down Glendola mountain road into San dimas... It is beyond stunning!!

Triple Jump Package May 12, 2015Great Jump
Chris the guide was on point with his joke. They double check everything and I mean everything twice in a super timely manner. The Jumps go off very rapidly and you feel safe the whole time. I had a great time and wouldn't pass up going back. The staff was excellent, the adventure was great, only caveat were the LA hikers. Come on guys, audio backpacks in the middle of nature, thats a little much.
Seriously though, everything about the staff and adventure was excellent.
