Looking for a way to combine self-defense, acrobatics and dance? If so, Capoeira is the perfect workout for you! This class is an intensive introduction to the wonderful world of Capoeira, an Afro-Brazilian martial art form that combines basic sequences of martial arts, dance and acrobatics for total-body conditioning. You will learn fundamental moves and techniques, such as attacks and counter moves, and even experiment with playing authentic African and Brazilian instruments. Strengthen every muscle in your body as you gain confidence, knowing you'll be able to defend yourself should any threatening situation arise. And, above all, it's simply a great time!
