Intro to Pole Dancing May 24, 2017Love taking classes here, I've tried classes somewhere else & learned no moves, got no workout & had to share pole with 3 other ppl. At evolve I learn a ton each class, get my own pole & wake up the next morning feeling it! The teachers are also super encouraging!

Invert Flow DanceFit April 29, 2017The most beautiful, supportive dance studio I've ever been to. The interior design is stunning. Every corner is a visual feast. The place makes you want to dance. Lani who runs the studio is so warm and welcoming. I came over from London and wanted to continue lessons and she has made me feel so at home. The instructors are incredibly talented and so inspirational - check out Jamé Ellis who should have a PhD in Polosophy! She has taught me the deeper meaning of pole dance. All in all I would highly recommend Evolve studios as a place to dance, be in a beautiful space around people who are both beautiful inside and out. Superb!!!

Intro to Pole Dancing March 3, 2017Been coming here for about 8 weeks, and I loved it from the first class!
I've only taken the Pole Virgin with Lori, so I can't say anything about other classes/instructor, but Lori is a great teacher and makes everyone feel really comfortable. The class is split in two based on experience, Lori teaches everyone the same spins and works a lot with the newer people but also shows the more experienced dancers ways to make it more challenging.
Parking isn't great, mostly street parking. I come to an evening class so I can usually find a spot close-by on Pico or in residential areas around the corner. Parking on Pico is metered but they stop after 6pm.
People giving low star reviews because 'the receptionist was rude' or because of the cancellation fee is ridiculous, you should review a dance studio based on their DANCE CLASSES. I've learned so much and gained a lot of upper body strength in just the short time I've been coming here, couldn't recommend it enough! -

Intro to Pole Dancing February 20, 2017I love this place. Everything I've tried has been a great upper body workout (pole, silks, lyra/hoop). The classes are affordable and they run specials all the time. The teachers and desk staff are friendly and welcoming.
Definitely bring your own mat! -

Intro to Pole Dancing November 19, 2016The instructors here are awesome, and that's really what makes a pole studio great. I've taken classes with Anikia, Jamè, Peppa, and Ngoc, and I recommend all of them! The worst thing I can say about this studio is that the lighting is unflattering making it almost impossible to take a good video.
Tips:
Get there early to claim a pole
Bring your own dry hands
Bring your own yoga mat
Be patient! Don't take an intermediate level class until you're strong enough -

Invert Flow DanceFit June 2, 2016Evolve is my favorite place in the city. I love everything about this studio and look forward to every opportunity to go in and get my #sexyfit (6:30p on Monday night with Nicole Rush, thats how I start my week) on!
I've been attending for nearly 3 months, I have seen my strength improve, confidence soar, and desire to improve reach new heights! I've come a a good distance and can't wait to learn more from these incredible instructors.
Evolve is the place to get right; moving it slow and sensually and then getting flexibile with Tiasha are core for me being comfortable in everyday movement.
Jame' brings out the ultimate bombshell in me with chair, floor, and pole fluidity, flow, and feel.
Vilita tones with circuit and fun pole combos.
Lori makes you feel like you can do anything with introducing you to fitness in the pole world.
Peppa keeps us going all the way up with climbing, inverting, spinning, and oh so cleverly brings us back to Earth with head/handstands, and then just gives you new identity with dance hall elegance.
Emily eagerly perfects your tricks to keep you aspiring for greatness.
Tena is a treat with unique isolation of the entire body during belly dance.
Shawna gets you to pop your back in ways that make you want to stop and pinch yourself to confirm that it's really you.
An added bonus are the lovely classmates that attend Evolve. I really learn so much from each of these ladies; the bonds that even the most "wall flower" type of person creates are so encouraging and motivating, they're keeping my sexy evolution going.
All this and so more is creatively put together daily by Lani, Mary, and the entire team at Evolve. I really wish I could make it to every class every day, but the schedule is put together in a way that every class is well attended and gives me milestones to challenge myself to achieve. The studios are well appointed with the resources needed to feel ready to learn, showcase, and develop into the sexy, powerful, and fit me I've dreamt of being.
I really love this place and can't say enough good about Evolve. I look forward to being the best vixen I can be and Evolve really brings that out of me. -

Intro to Pole Dancing February 9, 2016This is my second time having a pole party at evovle, and both times were awesome, I love the warm elegant enviornment that it has,and the people are great, the teacher was awesome, they also provide photography, and she was great, but Lani is the best, she make sure everything is to your satisfying needs, Oh but not to forget there are other fabulous classes that's offered at Evolve, fun place!!! fun atmosphere.

Invert Flow DanceFit April 7, 2015If you love pose-driven yoga, enjoy challenging your strength and flexibility and/or are looking to jump outside of your comfort zone, sign up for a class at Evolve.
I signed up for an introductory pole class on an impulse and I am hooked. The sport itself is both challenging and rewarding. The instructors are great, the staff is friendly, I even love the other ladies (and guys) who take classes here: the whole studio atmosphere really is fun and empowering. The dancefit classes (mostly cardio and/or stretch based, most with a fun amount of dance technique and choreography) I like even better than the pole, as it turns out. Taisha is a great teacher and pretty much the most hilarious person on Earth, her class Bodacious Booty is my favorite. All of the dancefit classes, however, really compliment pole well, it's amazing how much strength and flexibility you need to nurture to make progress on the pole. Between the pole and dance classes, I have been toning up quickly and am actually looking forward to all of my workouts.
The studio is located Pico (south side of the street), a half a block west of Fairfax. The dancefit classes are downstairs (look for the the black and white brocade curtains) and the pole classes are up the stairs just east of the downstairs studio. Don't wear lotion, or you will be slippin' and sliding, and for a lot of the dancefit classes kneepads are a great idea. -

Intro to Pole Dancing January 5, 2015Had my first visit for pole class there this and it was a really good experience! It's spacious, clean, and the environment is comfortable.
The woman who greeted me and I think runs the place was so nice and welcoming! More professional and welcoming than any other pole studio I've been to.
Most of the time when I enter new dance studios I get little nervous and intimidated because everyone seems to be a regular and it can feel a little cliquish but everyone was super friendly that I didn't feel out of place at all (which is important when you're stripping into booty shorts and attempting to not fall on your butt).
So glad I found a new studio close to my home! -

Invert Flow DanceFit November 20, 2014The classes at Evolve are so much fun and the teachers make you feel comfortable even if it's your first day. They're very knowledgeable and better at explaining the techniques than a lot of other studios.
Having taken a variety of Dancefit and pole classes, I would definitely recommend all of them. Taisha's dance classes are always full of energy. Lori, Emily, and Sasja are great pole teachers for beginners. Double (or triple) up on classes if you can! -

Invert Flow DanceFit September 23, 2014Rarely does working out feel so fun! I dropped in for Taisha's Booty class. I had no idea what to expect but Taisha's warm demeanor soon put me at ease. She's funny, she's encouraging and she can truly shake a tailfeather like no one else.
It's only been one class, but I've been trying to make my ass clap in every private moment. Can't wait for the next class and will show up an hour early for the Slow N Sexy class next week! -

Intro to Pole Dancing August 21, 2014I had intended to check out pole dancing two years ago and finally Im getting to it. This is the first pole studio I have been in aside from going to the strip club to watch. I took an intro to pole class and was pretty happy with the instruction. The class was small and I felt like I got really great instruction from the teacher. Learned some spins and walking around the pole. I didnt realize pole dancing can be somewhat technical and it's pretty challenging. I have a new appreciation for this art. With my first class I wont be quitting my day job. lol
I also received great customer service from Lani getting me signed up for class and such. Overall I had a fun time and strongly recommend that anyone try this out and it helps to bring a friend. -

Intro to Pole Dancing May 23, 2014Another guy here looking for a new body weight challenge and definitely got it!
Intro to pole was a comprehensive workout that focused on muscles I wouldn't get to use as much otherwise. Not only was the instructor, Lori, was very helpful and informative but the other students were friendly and inviting. Moreover the studio was in tip top shape; the atmosphere warm and intriguing--great for anyone tired of stuffy crowded gyms and wanting to try something new.
5/5 will go again.
