COME HERE! IF YOU LIKE WINE DO YOURSELF A FAVOR, GET IN THE CAR RIGHT NOW, AND COME HERE.
Edouard is usually there. He is French and studied medicine in California. Because of his french and scientific background he has the perfect blends of wines, ports, everything here is just perfectly balanced.
Tastings? 10$!!!! And you get to sit down and learn about the best wines in SoCal.
He really does a great job at taking you on a journey. Everything you taste is explained to you, and picked uniquely just for you. This is just like being at home. I truly can't wait to come back. The day I came here I had been to 3 different wineries and thought they were ok and didn't buy anything at all. I left Giessinger with 3 bottles :) and honestly I wish I would've gotten more.

My family and I had THE best time yesterday wine tasting at Giessinger. We started our wine tasting afternoon at another establishment and then decided to make our way to this tasting room. What a gem. Edouard was so knowledgeable and just so fun to listen to as he served his wines. As he moved around the tasting menu, each wine was explained and just so good. I tried varietals I typically never like but his were delicious. Also, make sure you get to the dessert wines.... WOW! Such a treat and I would strongly suggest you try it too!

This guy is like an evil wine genius. The science behind his wines is amazing. He is passionate about life, wine and has an open outlook on life. Take the time to visit his tasting room and you will not be disappointed. He will take you on a wine adventure you will not soon forget. I felt like a long time family friend in his house, getting to try his homemade wine. This man is one of a kind .. a beautiful soul.

Okay my friends. GO HERE. Tell that fine Frenchman that I sent you. An incredible amount of delicious wine for only $10 a person, and the stories, the conversation, the history just an incredible gift to the area! I don't think I've ever gone here and not left with a bottle or two and STILL don't feel like I break the bank! Nothing here is done without purpose and soul.
There is wine here for every palate.

What a wonderful wine tasting! I came here with friends last weekend for the first time and enjoyed it so much I came back with my husband and two other friends a week later. We all loved the wines and talking with the hospitable owner who is very friendly and interesting to talk to! We enjoyed all the wines in the tasting and bought several, including the port and Surrender, a chocolate port, which is better than any dessert. I can't recommend this winery enough - the tasting room is in a little house and is charming and comfortable. Go here with friends or if you are by yourself and enjoy good wine and conversation -- you will be very happy you did, I promise!

Fantastic wine from Edourd. The grenache and cab franc are excellent, and we really enjoyed (and bought) the raspberry and 99 Syrah port. Had a blast chatting with Edourd and chat wait to come back.

Oh my I adore this place! I had the best wine tasting experience! The wines are spectacular, every single one of them. I love the variety, the creativity, the uniqueness and the taste! I know where I'm going to be doing most of my holiday shopping for gifts etc. I cannot wait to go back. Best experience ever, so wonderful. Please go!

I've been here several times in the last 3 months.
Typically I go to wineries with my friends because they want to go. But Giessenger Cellars, it is not by accident that I come again and again.
Mind you I am not a wine person really. Hard Liquor & Craft beer is really my type.
Giessinger is the exception.
The whites really surprised me. I've tried 3 of them, and they are pretty darn good. I don't care for whites at all, but Symphony I must say, it is excellent!
The reds are good, the Barbera is the best of the bunch.
The dessert wines are quite tasty. The raspberry and the apricot dessert, are very unique!
What blows me away are the ports. The syrah port, is crazy good. The first few times I had a little, I enjoyed it but didn't think it was special enough to buy. Told myself it's too sweet, and I wouldn't want anymore than just a tasting.
One of my friends bought the port, and a few weeks later opened it when I was over. I had a small serving and it was good. Poured another, and tasted better! Between the 3 of us we killed the bottle.
After that night, I was determined to come back again, and not without empty handed.
On my last visit I was very happy to come back! It not only was the first time ever I bought a bottle from a winery ( I bought 3), but I also signed up their wine club.
I will continue to come back, and will be back with new friends and family.
If you are in the area, you will not be disappointed !
