Sometimes, you’ve got to get out of the world for a bit to make it seem like a better place.
This sitting group will help you do just that, as you explore meditative practice while also focusing on LGBTQ issues and personal identity!
Designed to be inclusive of everyone from first-time meditators to experienced practitioners of Vipassana, this is your chance to explore the impact of mindfulness on your own personal well-being and the power of compassion to change the world.
During this communal session, you’ll get practice in sitting in silence and cultivating awareness, enjoy dharma talks to help teach your about the practice of meditation, and have the opportunity to ask questions and share personal experiences with others.
Note: This is a free trial class.
