Got a case of the brain frazzles? Take a breather from life with a little silent treatment in this sitting group!
During this mindful meeting, you’ll enjoy a relaxing group sitting silent meditation for 40 minutes before getting up for 20 minutes of silent walking meditation. This is time to practice breathing awareness and put yourself into a soothing state of mindfulness in a safe, spiritually nurturing environment.
You’ll even end the session with another 20 minute sit, but not before enjoying an intimate, 40-minute Dharma talk, during which the sitting group’s teacher will offer insights into the meditation you just experienced. You’ll even have the opportunity to participate and ask all those burning questions you really want to know.
What to expect
- Join a community of mindfulness practitioners for a session of silent meditation
- Enjoy two separate sessions of silent sitting meditation as well as 20 minutes of silent walking meditation
- Get your questions about the practice of meditation answered during an open dialogue
- Set your intent for outside of the class with peaceful reflection and the storing of positive energy
