Got a case of the brain frazzles? Take a breather from life with a little silent treatment in this sitting group!
During this mindful meeting, you’ll enjoy a relaxing group sitting silent meditation for 30 minutes before getting up for 15 minutes of silent walking meditation. This is time to practice breathing awareness and put yourself into a soothing state of mindfulness in a safe, spiritually nurturing environment.
Afterwards, you’ll enjoy an intimate Dharma talk, during which the sitting group’s teacher will offer insights into the meditation you just experienced. You’ll even have the opportunity to participate and ask all those burning questions you really want to know.
What to expect
- Join a community of mindfulness practitioners for a session of silent meditation
- Enjoy 30 minutes of silent sitting meditation followed by 15 minutes of silent walking meditation
- Get your questions about the practice answered during a brief talk and open dialogue
- Set your intent for outside of the class with peaceful reflection and the storing of positive energy
