Learn the incredible power of silent meditation during this Friday-morning sitting group!
You’ll be joining a group of spiritually-minded individuals practicing the Soto Zen tradition. During the session, you’ll practice both sitting and walking forms of meditation as you keep silent for an entire hour in order to cultivate mindfulness and personal insights.
To help solidify your understanding and bring the community together, each session will end with a reading, followed by a discussion on the practice of Soto Zen and what it means to be mindfully aware.
Not sure if sitting group is right for you? Try not to think too hard about it, and you’ll fit right in!

What to expect
- Join a community of mindfulness practitioners for a session of silent meditation
