  I was drowning in life... had lost the ability to continue my chosen career as a professional wrestler and was falling quickly down the spiral. Then a series of very fortunate events lead me to the Two Roads Theater and Lifebook Acting Academy. That is where I met Allen Levin and a whole slew of new people that have quickly become like a family to me. I have since found regular work performing in a Stunt Show at a popular theme park and the lessons that I have learned at Lifebook have prepared me to propel myself toward my dreams... I have become an unbreakable, unrelenting pitbull charging triumphantly toward freedom.

  I discovered this acting class through a stream of random events and I am so incredibly thankful for it. I trained for years before moving to Los Angeles, but the amount of self discovery I have made in the past 3 months while attending Lifebook Acting Academy is unmatched. I used to be afraid of improv and now I crave it. I used to be unsure of myself in the acting community and now I know my strengths. Allen Levin, the coach, has an extremely beautiful way of expressing his critiques, yet making sure you never forget the things that make you shine in your craft. This community is so strong and everyone is positive and legitimately cares about you and your success. I have some of my best friends now because of joining LB and I have improved my craft immensely. There's lessons I learned in class which helped me book my first paid filming gig and left a lasting impression on the producer! Thanks Allen! You are a rockstar acting (and life) coach!

  Great place to grow as an actor or as a writer. The place has a strong sense of community. Everyone is supportive of each other and wants to help each other get to their goals.
  
  The class is structured to fit where you are artistically. We do improv to begin class and we often to cold reads. Then you get feedback usually based on where you are in terms of experience. There is a beginners class which is a great place to start and then you work your way to the advanced class.
  
  The other great thing about the place is that Allen Levin encourages people To produce their own stuff and take their careers in their own hands, which I feel is particularly important.

  One of the best training classes I've had! Allen is a phenomenal teacher and coach, and the other actors in the class are dedicated and welcoming. I'm looking forward to continuing my education here!

  Been going here for two years now.
  
  I audited 5 different places before settling here. I chose this place for many reasons, some of them being the WONDERFUL AND SUPPORTIVE community of actors, the truly INSPIRING work that is produced, the real PASSION Allen has for coaching his students, and the EMPHASIS on translating class work to the real world. We have guest speakers come every month which is also awesome.
  
  The Two Roads Theatre is also a beautiful and intimate space.

  I rarely write reviews but every once in a while I receive so much value from an establishment that I cannot help but feel guilty if I don't express my gratitude. I took the Acting for Non-Actors class and even though my budget is tight I have decided to return because the benefits are just incredible.
  
  Coach Levin gives detailed and personalized feedback to everyone, and I am always impressed at how he pinpoints exact problems that actors are facing and provides specific, actionable advice. I often feel humbled after it is all said and done, and that drives me to improve every time.
  
  We all know that massive growth takes place beyond one's comfort zone, and there is nothing that pushes me to that area on a weekly basis more than this class does. The confidence you gain from putting yourself out there in front of a crowd so often and trying new things is unrivaled. Sometimes you do or say things that make you slap your forehead in shame afterwards, other times you walk away with your head held high after what you felt was a champion's performance, but EVERY time you come out with new lessons learned and new experiences under your belt that make you not just a better actor, but a better human being. I am forever indebted to Coach Levin and Lifebook Acting Academy.
