Experience LA's Original Farmers Market, a landmark unlike any other in southern California, on an entertaining, informative and delicious guided walking food tour! This epicurean 2.5 hour stroll will introduce you to the Market's fascinating history as well as the interesting stories of the families who have been part of this landmark location since its beginnings in 1934. Explore the area that artisan butchers, bakers and candymakers, an international spice merchant endorsed by Oprah Winfrey, and even local celebrity chefs are all proud to call their stomping grounds. Seek out spectacular ethnic eateries to indulge in cuisines from around the world, which may include French, Brazilian, Cajun, Middle Eastern, and Spanish. After sampling pizza from L.A.’s first pizzeria, trying donuts from a stand rated one of the best in the country, and ending on a sweet note with some handmade candy, you’ll begin to understand why locals consider this the best restaurant and grocery store in town. This probably goes without saying, but make sure you come hungry!

Cancellation notice must be provided at least 7 hours in advance in order to receive a 75% refund. If notice is provided 3-6 days prior to tour, a 50% refund will be given. Notice given less than 3 days before tour are ineligible for refunds.
