We really enjoyed this food tour and our guide Andrew was excellent. He was very knowledgeable and took us to many amazing little restaurants and markets within the Farmers Market. Loved the Mexican tacos and the dips and cheese store. Definitely recommend this tour!

When in Los Angeles, you've got to take the Farmers Market Tour-Melting Pot Food Tours. Cross your fingers and toes that Andrew will be your guide for the day. He is funny, personable, accommodating, knowledgeable, and just an all around great guy. You'll be so full at the end of the tour that you may contemplate turning away a bite or two...but don't even think about it. You will never know what you missed! Everything we tasted was wonderful. It was the kind of experience that you tell all of your friends about. Thanks Andrew!

Went on the Farmers Market tour on Friday, March 3 and it was an awesome experience. Our guide, Diane, immediately showcased how in tune she was with the market by introducing us to some of the vendors right off the bat. She was extremely knowledgeable about all of the history of the market from the days when it began to the modern changes of the past few years. The food was unbelievable-we were eating constantly for the entirety of the tour. As a USC student from out of town, this was an awesome experience to feel more LA. Even though I've been staying fifteen minutes away for four years, I didn't know about all the culture. Definitely a great experience and a delicious one as well.

Went on Farmers Market tour yesterday and loved it! Andrew was a great guide. Very knowledgeable about the history of the place. We had just the right amount of stops to fill us up. Saw many places to come back to. I knew it was here but never made the trek down. Glad we went and now I'll be back. Thanks Andrew!! You da best!

We just completed our Original Famers Market Food and History Tour. The tour was above and beyond our expectations. Andrew (our guide) was excellent and extremely knowledgeable about the history of the area and the market. His knowledge of the shops, owners and their products was entertaining as well as informative. Very impressive! I nearly forgot to mention the food...we tasted our way through the market. Fresh fruits and vegetables, handmade Ice cream, candy, falafel and Brazilian churrasco all paired nicely with a Chardonnay. 2 1/2 hours gave us barley enough time to visit all the market has to offer. Can't wait for our next tour!!!

Diane took us on a tour of the original Farmer's Market, and it was fabulous. The tour completely exceeds expectations and feels like a friend teaching you about her friends (the owners of the stalls at the Farmers Market). If you're visiting LA or just trying to get to know your hometown better, this tour is a must-do!

We enjoyed the food tour with our guide, Andrew, around the L.A. Farmer's Market. Be sure to come hungry! There were nearly ten food food stops, some highlights including an apple fritter, caviar cheese spread, Brazilian meats, falafel, toffee, fresh juice, and ice cream. It was fun to learn about the history of the market and sample foods from so many family-owned businesses. We even had a celebrity-sighting! The tour group ended up just being my daughter and me, but it was not awkward at all. Andrew was very personable and easy to talk to, giving us lots of additional suggestions for restaurants, shopping, and sights while we're in town. Thanks for a great tour!
