Whether you look to kayak or not, you'll find yourself having a wonderful experience. This guided kayak tour takes place between the rugged coastal mountains and south-facing beaches at a place known as Santa Barbara or more commonly known as the American Riviera.
You will continue your journey by passing by various wildlife from sea lions and sea stars to pelicans, egrets, and herons.
Now get ready to embark on a kayak tour of a lifetime!
And if your lucky you could even paddle with a family of dolphins or wave to grey whales passing by on their yearly migration!

There are no cancellations within 72hrs of an activity start time. You can change your activity date with no penalty up until 14 days prior to your reservation. Changes within 14 days are subject to approval and may incur a 10% fee based on availability.

Single Kayak Rental (Santa Barbara) June 5, 2017The staff at Paddle Sports Center is Awesome!! I had a little bit of nerves about going out into the open ocean in just a Kayak, but they put my nerves to ease. They were soo helpful and informative about things we could see while we were out on the water, and things we could and could not do. They had a place on the dock to keep out shoes, so we didn't have to wear them on the water to avoid getting soggy shoes. Overall GREAT experience and they accept the AXXESS card for a 2 for 1! We were out on the water for about an hour and 20 min and it was soo enjoyable, just being able to be out there cruising along without a care in the world! Thanks Paddle Sports Center for making our visit soo special!

My paddleboard rental was easy, accessible and fun. The guys at the shop provided a detailed rundown of paddleboarding techniques, and hooked me up with all the gear I'd need to enjoy my time on the water. Being right in the harbor, we had so many options to explore the SB coastline. Our day at Ledbetter was perfect. Thanks, Paddle Sports!

Even if it's your first time on a kayak or SUP they welcome you and show you how to do it. There is enclosed water harbor access for the kayaks and SUPs or also beach access for the SUPs to launch through the waves at Leadbetter. Kind people, great gear and good vibes!

He explained clearly how to paddle and stand up on the board, I felt very safe. It was a beautiful trip! The clothes in the store are also very cute!!

Single Kayak Rental (Santa Barbara) July 5, 2016Great customer service and easy to book online. I was able to book the day of the rental for 2 paddle boards and a kayak. An hour later, I showed up for my appointment. They provided lockers for your personal item, got you outfitted quickly and gave recommendations on where to go based on the conditions.
Super friendly and helpful.
The equipment was in excellent condition. They use a nifty timing bracelet which you clock out and in when you leave and return to the shop. Easy!
Our group ended up paddling out to the buoy that has sea lions on it. A little workout but definitely worth it. -

The area you paddle or kayak from this rental center is very serene and calm, so first-timers, like myself, have no need for fear. We even saw a seal checking us out. A real seal, not a sea lion! -

It was great fun, the equipment was top notch, and the girls working at the shop were very nice and helpful. There were convenient lockers to store our belongings, and instruction was given on how to use the boards. We would certainly rent from there again!
