Painting Class May 21, 2017I've done paint and sip only one other time as a private in home party and the instructor had drawn the picture in pencil on our canvas prior to us starting. It was more like a paint by number.
This class we literally did everything freehand per the instructors direction & we were so impressed that we could actually paint pictures that looked somewhat similar to the instructors!!!
Tamara was our teacher and she was so sweet and played great music, the price point was perfect for a fun date night & we came home feeling proud of ourselves.
We will definitely do this again at this specific studio!!
Parked on the street, brought a bottle of wine, and had a great time painting a pig. -

Painting Class April 24, 2017I've done two classes here and had a great experience both times. The instructors are nice and helpful. They play great music. You can bring your own snacks and wine (no corkage fee)- it doesn't get better than that! I recommend the "paint your pet" class.

Wine Down Wednesdays March 28, 2017Went there last night to celebrate my friends birthday and the experience was amazing. It was my first time painting so I was a bit nervous about messing it up, but Mady, our instructor, was very helpful. She answered everyone's questions & helped out as much as she could. It's a small space so it's very private. It's bring your own wine, but they'll provide the glasses. Overall it was a wonderful experience

Painting Class January 28, 2017Paint and Sip was a great experience for us. We came in ready to sip and came out with a memorable painting that is now hanging on my wall.
We had to reschedule once because we had car trouble on our first try and I really appreciated how they were helpful on changing our date.
No skills necessary to have fun. :) -

Painting Class December 19, 2016Wonderful BYOB social painting experience with Lisa, who instructed us to paint a cool Starry-Night inspired landscape of Downtown LA.
The venue was awesome, a tiny non descript studio on the second floor of a mixed use building along La Brea. When you walk in the walls are painted with the names of previous guests.
I loved the small class size -- only 24 people, and probably only 2 empty seats -- which made for a more casual, relaxed environment where it was more natural to talk to your neighbors. I've been to paint nights where there is double the size and it feels like you're in a class and it's hard to see the instructor's painting. Not so here, as the intimate size was great and we could easily follow our instructor's steps and see her work (both in progress and the finished one for reference). It also is fun to see everyone's paintings around you -- surprising how each one is very uniquely different! -- without having to get up and roam the room.
The best part of Paint and Sip was that it was bring your own bottle of wine (plastic cups and opener provided), which meant you could truly personalize your experience with your favorite beverage and drink at your leisure without racking up a big booze tab. Many people also brought snacks, cheese, fruits to eat with their wines. Very cozy and welcoming environment!
In addition, we also got a free passes to an upcoming advanced film screening with swag -- a nice bonus!
I would definitely recommend Paint and Sip! -

Wine Down Wednesdays November 29, 2016Fun time for all...beginners and intermediate artists will enjoy their time. Stress free atmosphere and patient instructor. Only wish they offered family classes...21 and over only.

Wine Down Wednesdays November 21, 2016Painting is not one of my strengths, but I enjoy challenging myself and the Paint & Sip Studio does just that! The instructors are great and help you every step of the way, which is why I'm always surprisingly pleased with my work. It's BYOB and it's fun to paint, sip wine and hang out with friends.
I celebrated my birthday there in October with 10 friends, wine, appetizers, cake and painting. This combination made for one of the best and funniest birthdays ever. It was memorable and everyone got to take something home on my birthday. Parking is $8 in the lot next door and happy hour is across the street, if you arrive early. There is also a Traders Joe's down the street to pick up appetizers, wine, etc. Have a great time. -

Wine Down Wednesdays October 12, 2016I Love going here, BYOB and paint go together. I have been going for about 3 years or so. I always have a wonderful time. All the teachers are great, Brandon always remembers my name. We laugh , make new friends, so relaxing. After class we all get a chance to see each other's paintings and then take a group picture. How much fun can you have in one evening, a lot!!!!
Thank You Paint & Sip Studio LA, I will see you soon

Painting Class March 10, 2016What a night! This is one of the most relaxing events that I've been to. The instructor Tamara was amazing, made everybody feel great about their work.
All supplies are included just bring your favorite bottle of wine, even a little snack if you'd like. Make new friends and impress yourself with a piece of art.
Will definitely return!
They even offer private parties! Would totally look into that!
Parking is available right next to the building. ($8 valet). Street parking is also available right in front of the building. -

Wine Down Wednesdays January 23, 2016This is my first time at one of these and I Had a lovely time with my best friend. It was very welcoming the instructor was fun, gave everyone enough time to catch up, they played music and kept everyone engaged.
I had questions like
Will I need my own wine glass or do they provide? A cup is provided and I saw some girls brought their own.
Will they have a bottle opener? Yes they do and you can also bring your own.
Highly recommend a date night with your honey or just friends night. -

Wine Down Wednesdays March 16, 2015First time and I LOVED IT!

Painting Class January 6, 2015Regardless of your art experience, you will have a wonderful time at Paint & Sip! Brandon is a great instructor and takes the time to show you step by step. All of us were amazed by how well our artwork turned out. This was my second time and I enjoyed it even more than the first. My friends and definitely plan to return!

Painting Class October 17, 2014We had such a great time! Brandon is an awesome instructor and we really enjoyed painting with him. Everything was broken down to very simple steps, we couldn't go wrong and we left with some true masterpieces, I'm really glad we did this and we will be back for more. Highly recommended.

Wine Down Wednesdays June 9, 2014Lots of fun! The painting instructions were easy to follow step-by-step, and it was a good crowd of people. We went on Wednesday night, and I expected it to be a couples' spot, but most of the people seemed to be there in groups of friends. The class is three hours, so bring appropriate amounts of wine for the time frame :) Can't wait to go back again - definitely one of the most fun ways to take a painting lesson!

Painting Class February 15, 2014It was a really fun experience. It's a cute studio upstairs with great natural light. The teacher was really funny and put us all at ease (or maybe that was the wine. Or both). They provided glasses for the wine, bottled water for drinking, and music to listen to while we went to work on our canvases. The staff was really nice, and they always checked in with us to see if we needed anything like clean water for our brushes. I'd definitely go again!
Also, the parking on the street is mostly metered, 2 hour parking, but the side streets are free to park! -
