Want to get back to the basics in your culinary routine? Like way, way back? Go paleolithic during this hands-on workshop!

Just in case you've been living in a cave somewhere, the paleo diet is an approach to nutrition that emphasizes only eating the foods that were once available to our prehistoric ancestors. During this workshop, you'll learn to follow the fundamental precepts of the paleo diet without actually having to sharpen your own spears and hunt your own game, or get your hands all dirty foraging for edible roots and plants.

The class instructor will cover both shopping and recipe preparation. In the process, you'll work alongside fellow foodies in creative kitchen environment as you create a delicious meal that will make pre-history!

On the menu: Kale, Radish and Hard Boiled Egg Salad with Toasted Seeds and Citrus Vinaigrette;

Spaghetti Squash with Roasted Fennel, Herbs and Lemon Infused Olive Oil; Orange Cashew Chicken; and Eggplant with Lamb or Beef, Mint, Pine Nuts and Tomatoes.
