About this Activity
It's the late 70's to early 80's, the peak of the Cold War between the United States and the Soviet Union. Tension is rising and both armies are on high alert. Things are about to blow up because someone has infiltrated a top-secret room and initiated the nuclear warhead launch sequence!
Will you save the world from an all-out nuclear war, or will you watch the world as you know it disintegrate before your very eyes?
You're part of a special ops team that has been dispatched to abort the launch at any cost. You are the world's last hope.

Cold War Bunker Room Escape (2-3 people) May 15, 2017We did the prison break room last Friday and it was so much fun! The puzzles were challenging. It would probably be easier with a group of more than two people. Our room host was super nice and helpful. I wish I would have known we could tip them BEFORE we arrived. So bring cash to tip them :)
Don't park in the lot right next to the building unless you want to spend $20 on parking. Drive a bit past the building and there's a $10 parking structure. -

Cold War Bunker Room Escape (2-3 people) May 11, 2017Cold War Bunker Rating: 4 Level: Rookie
I took my nephew and everything we had an amazing experience. He loved the military theme and the puzzles were accommodating for all ages. Even though I haven't done the Zombie Lab, Bunker is my favorite from this company. The room had cool effects and the feel of the mission was exciting. Another great feature was when we asked for hints, the game master guided us toward the answer and not just directly gave it away. -

Cold War Bunker Room Escape (2-3 people) May 6, 2017I am not a gamer. I dislike puzzles, riddles, and the like. I wonder why people would pay to subject themselves to solving problems in their leisure time. However, this was my first experience and I had a great time here with my team from work. We did the Cold War bunker and the clues really brought out each person's strengths. We met the objective and were really into it the whole time
Now, I can see how YMMV if you don't win the game. You might be upset. Also, don't bring a date here unless you're both super-geeky. Park at 8349 Sunset Blvd to avoid getting hosed for parking. -

Cold War Bunker Room Escape Group (4-6 people) April 20, 2017No wonder this place has 5-star reviews all day long. This was hands down one of the coolest experiences of my life. The reservation, check in, briefing, game qualify, facilities, difficulty level, etc, all the BEST.
This was my first experience and I can't wait to go back! The Cold War Bunker is a MUST DO! Highly recommended. Such a phenomenal experience. Thanks for the amazing birthday memories!
Special thanks to the staff for being so accommodating and fun. You made this a birthday I'll never forget! -

Cold War Bunker Room Escape Group (4-6 people) March 26, 2017So this was my first room escape ever and I'm so excited it was this place! I got some friends together to surprise my fiancé for his birthday and when we left he had a huge smile on his face.
SERVICE: was super awesome, we had the manager as our guide and she was great. Really funny, helpful and even afterwards told us about other room escape places we would love to check out (not competitive with other places).
ROOM: was great and challenging!!! We had to use hints a few times but we completed with 11 min to spare. Decor was AWESOME and really enjoyed the games/tasks.
COST: for $33 a game not cheap but not bad at all, well worth the adventure!
Overall great experience. Way better than just watching Netflix on the couch and it's location is great for us since we live in hollywood!!!
CANT WAIT TO TRY THE ZODIAC GAME COMING SOON !!! -

Cold War Bunker Room Escape (2-3 people) September 26, 2016We WILL be coming back so that we can to those diamonds. This was my first time participating in a escape game and i had such a great time trying to break into the Bank safe with my 2 friends. Although we didn't complete the mission, we are now determined as ever to come back and do it again. I didn't really know what to expect, but I'm sure glad that my friend suggested this over a sunday morning hike. It's located in a very basic building, and it looks like its going through a little remodel at the moment.....but it's all good.
I thought that the staff was very friendly. They gave great tips before starting on our game. I highly recommend trying out all the different Escape Games. I actually can't wait to go back to finish the game or start on a new one. GIVE IT A TRY! -

Cold War Bunker Room Escape (2-3 people) September 26, 2016What an awesome experience! I've heard about these rooms popping up all over but never knew exactly what they were about.
Had a bachelorette gathering and decided to test our critical thinking skills. There was 5 of us total and all of our first times. Granted we were slightly all still suffering consequences from The night before and came about 15 minutes late to our appointment so we didn't get to have the whole 60 minutes that you normally get to solve the puzzle.
So with 45 minutes We embarked on the bank robbery room and tried to solve it and escape but unfortunately failed and got locked up.
The over all set up was so well put together and really challenges you to look at every detail. Things you think matter, don't and things that don't matter, do.
Sorry guys can't go into too much details cause I don't want to give everything away. Definitely a must try with your closest friends. Or maybe even a bonding experience for a date or coworkers. Nice and knowledgeable staff.
The only complaint I have is the traffic and parking. And unfortunately this establishment is smack dab in rush hour traffic all the time due to its location. Metered parking out front of there is a parking lot for a few close by. Come early to avoid traffic and to find parking.
I'll more than likely be back to try other rooms. -

Cold War Bunker Room Escape (2-3 people) September 20, 2016Cold War Bunker (my 58th room):
So immersive; my favorite of the two we played during this visit. I've been seeing their promo pictures for over a year now and it was fun to finally get to play the room. Too many cool things I can't reveal here, but this place has my favorite bunker/war themed room thus far. Math was used at one point, so bring your math wiz with you!
Their hint system is so unique (first time I've seen a place give you picture clues).
2 hour street parking or $20 lot directly behind the building.
Definitely coming back to try their other rooms! The staff is INCREDIBLE! -
