    Intro Mini Beach Hang Gliding Lesson (Weekday)

    Looking for a little pick-me-up? Learn to hang glide during this introductory course! You'll be getting your feet off the ground (but not too far off!) during a series of easy, low-altitude flights that start with a running jump off of a 30-foot training hill, and finish on a beach 100 yards away. Windsports Soaring Center's professional instructors will teach you all the basics you need to know to maneuver the ultralight glider, starting with a safety briefing and demonstration. Then, over the course of approximately 2 hours, you'll have 4 separate opportunities to hone your skills. Your instructor will run alongside you during each run, keeping your altitude to no more than 10-feet above the ground. In the process, you'll learn to launch, control your speed and altitude, and land. Thanks to expert instruction and small classes, consisting of 5 or fewer people, this is the perfect way to develop fundamental skills and find out if hang gliding is something you'd like to pursue in earnest. Come to think, it also opens up some interesting commuting options ...
