Totally professional, very safe and extremely fun group of people. When your jumping out of an airplane, these are the guys you want to do it with.

I had the best experience. Kevin was my instructor.
Do yourself a favor and pay the extra for the video and the extra elevation.
I will certainly do it again. They were fast and friendly.

It has always been my moms dream to go skydiving. I am so glad we choose Taft Skydiving as the place to have her do it. Every one here is so friendly and upbeat. The atmosphere is fun yet relaxed. Seeing all the jumpers be at ease made my family feel at ease. We bought her the tandem skydive picture and video package. This was a great deal and worth every penny. Beevo was the instructor she jumped with and he was amazing.
He made us all feel so comfortable we knew our mom was in good hands. He made the experience special for all of us. The pictures and video he took are great quality and tell her story beautifully. If your in California this is the place to go!

I love this dropzone. It feels like a home away from home. The vibe, the people- there's zero attitude and every time I come up here its a total blast. If you've never skydived, DO THIS- and do it here. This gang makes it the greatest experience that you could possibly have.

I've been a licensed skydiver for over 5 years now, and since the current owners took over Skydive Taft, it has become my home dropzone. The instructors and coaches are amazing, and the vibe is awesome. It's a diverse and welcoming place where everyone feels like one big crazy family.
I've brought friends here for tandems, and when a couple of them wanted to get licensed, they came back to Taft and are now licensed themselves. :) The customer service and prices are the best in the area too!
--Don't be freaked out by the waiver... every dropzone has to have them for liability and legal reasons, and they are enough to scare the pants off anyone. Nothing in life is perfectly safe, including skydiving, but the staff at Taft takes safety very seriously, and skydiving as a whole is safer than it ever has been! (Odds are your drive to the dropzone will be about as dangerous statistically as your jump!)
--If doing a tandem, bring cash to tip your instructor!
--You don't actually HAVE to do a tandem first--you can take the class and jump with your own parachute and two instructors. It's not a bad idea to do a tandem first, but if you think you might really get into it, why not take the class? It's super fun and you learn a LOT!

Skydive Taft is AMAZING. We went as first time jumpers and will DEFINITELY be back. Everyone is incredibly nice and friendly, and they make you feel so safe and welcome. I can't imagine ever going anywhere else.

I had such an amazing time here. Everyone was so kind and VERY professional. It is clear that this is something that they are passionate about and take very serious. I did my first tandem with Beevo. He was amazing. He talked me through the entire process and eased my anxiety completely. It was such a great experience that I had to go a second time in a row. Thank you Skydive Taft for one of the best days of my life! I think i'm hooked.

I had a great time here! This was my first jump ever! We arrived not knowing where to park or go check in, Just follow the signs Stupid! ha. Its a warehouse building where you check your self in. They also have front and rear parking. You must make reservations! You then pay your dues and then sign your life away on a 10 page disclaimer form. Initials and signatures everywhere! You can choose or not to watch the video that is on continuous play. The person at the register was very friendly and answered any questions that you may have.
We went on a day where there was some kind of event, so there was many people there, It was basically a camp site, care free people! Everyone was very welcoming and picked up conversation easily.
I waited approx. 1 hour before my jump. Once they call your name over the intercom you meet your tandem guy. whoever is jumping with you. They go over the basics with you, suit you up in your harness, And your off! Its about a 10 minute flight. Then the doors open. Jump, free fall for about one minute and then your guy opens up your parachute. You glide down for about 6 minutes. The view is spectacular!
This is a must if your a thrill freak, but still want to be a little on the safe side. lol...
I would definitely Jump again with this company!

It's obvious from the first moment you arrive that this is what they do. Sky Dive Taft is a home to the professionals who live for this. My first time, and I'm overwhelmed. But they understand. They make me feel comfortable without destroying the excitement. Great time, great instructors, great jump. Thank you, Sky Dive Taft.

I've done many tandems before, but hadn't jumped in quite a while. I've missed being in the sky so decided to do a tandem today.
Skydive Taft is out of my way a bit (but I have alot of friends who jump here), so I decided to mosey on out to Taft. It was nice to see old friends and to do a tandem.
My TI was Beevo. He was funny and made my jump a breeze. He was conscientious about checking for my comfort and safety in the harness (which I appreciate). He made me laugh all the way up to altitude and we jumped outta the door, feeling the wind in my face, made me realize how much I missed being in the air. Will have to make up for that soon and will probably be making another trip or two out to Taft in the near future :)
Since I came later in the day, there wasn't that long a wait for my jump.
