    Mountain Tandem Hang Gliding Lesson

    Not one to keep your feet on the ground? Get your head in the clouds where it belongs during this tandem hang gliding lesson! You'll take the plunge from 3,500-feet up, launching off the side of Kagel Mountain in the San Fernando Valley. Prior to your launch, you'll meet your instructor and pilot at Sylmar Flight Park for a quick look at the landing area, before a 45-minute scenic drive up the mountain. There, you'll help assemble the modern, lightweight tandem glider you'll be using, and receive an orientation on safety and flight mechanics. In the air, you'll enjoy 2 miles of exhilarating flight that could take anywhere from 10-20 minutes. Your instructor will show you the basics of steering as you go, even giving you the chance to take the controls for yourself. Of course, you'll enjoy an incredible bird's-eye view of the valley as well, including a view of Los Angeles! Pretty fly, huh?

Your expert instructor will cover all techniques used to knead the dough with your feet, the time for resting the dough and the type of flour you're using -- which all contribute to producing different varieties of this noodle. In addition to a few variations of udon noodles, you'll make buckwheat and ramen noodles by tweaking the udon making technique! to go with your freshly homemade noodles, come away learning how to make the traditional noodle dipping sauce called "Tsuyu."
