Soba noodles are traditional Japanese thin noodles, usually made from buckwheat. In this class you’ll learn the basics of making your own!
In this class you’ll get a chance to make soba chips with sea salt, handmade fresh soba noodles with roasted ground walnuts dipping sauce and hot soba with chicken, shiitake mushrooms, scallions, ginger, citrus rind. You will also make quick koji turnip and apricot pickles with konbu seaweed and lemon plus seasonal fruit agar jelly with Okinawa brown sugar syrup. This is your chance to master Japanese cuisine with the help of a Japanese chef.
