6-Hour City Tour

We did the 6 hour tour starting at 11am and took off from the office on Hollywood Blvd. As you can imagine getting started was a bit hectic as it's EXTREMELY crowded right in front of the office. We did however get to see Chewbacca and Spider-man get into a fight over a tourist giving them a $10 bill for a photo with them. Apparently they didn't have a $5 to split the tip? LOL .... One thing I would change is that we we allowed 75 mins at Venice Beach and only 15 minutes at The Santa Monica Pier and I would have like to have 30 mins less at Venice and 30 mins more at the peir. Overall not bad and the guide was good.

We took the 6 hour tour covering Griffith Park, Santa Monica, Bel Air etc. John kept us laughing all the way through and was very knowledgeable. We didn't realise how vast LA is but felt we covered a very good amount. Couldn't have been better in any way! Be on time as they will leave without latecomers!

LA City Tours was 6 hour tour taking in all the main highlights. The driver Dave was extremely knowledgeable about everything. The only down side was that most of the stops we had were only 20 mins so not long enough to do anything. Venice beach was 45 min stop which was better.

This tour provided a great overall experience and hit the highlights of Los Angeles. We went to the Hollywood walk of fame, Santa Monica pier, The Hollywood sign and Griffith Observatory, rodeo Dr., Beverly Hills and several celebrity homes. It was our first time in LA and we had fun on this tour. Highly recommend if you've never been to LA. Dave our tour guide did a great job keeping us up to date through the entire 6 hour trip.

The LA/Hollywood Tour was a good choice. The 6 hour tour covered most of the LA area highlights. Dave was very knowledgeable & informative as a tour guide. He also made the tour enjoyable with his humor. Take this tour, you won't be sorry.

I made a good choice with LA City Tours. I’m from back East and never thought I’d get a chance to see the LA area. Fortunately for me, the chance presented itself and I wanted to make the most of the opportunity. LA City Tours provided me with a chance to see a lot of the big named attractions for an incredibly low cost for a six and a half hour tour. George….our tour guide did a great job and was very knowledgeable and provided us with details of the attractions. Due to the length of the tour, I would recommend not bringing small children on the tour. I highly recommend LA City Tours.

Great way to see and learn about the major sites of LA - If you are only in LA for a few days I would highly recommend this tour to get an overview so you can plan the few days you are there. Nick who was our tour guide was great - kept us informed of everything and just generally a great guy! Customer service was great with me wanting to get dropped off at a different location to where I originally stated, they organised an uber for me to get back to Santa Monica. Thanks for everything!!!

Our guide was very knowledgeable. I got a good idea of Los Angeles. Bus comfortable also. Were a bit rush, I would have like to have more time to walk and take photos on the Walk of Fame and also have time to walk and put my toe on the beach and in the Pacific Ocean 1st time and probably last time near that ocean and less time in the visit of celebrity homes because we don't see their house anyway as they are behind a high fence and lost of edges. In the details of the tour, it is written: '' ...before hitting the Pacific Coast Highway TO SINK YOUR TOES into L.A.'S most beloved beaches''...forget about sinking your toes! We stopped at Marina Del Rey to have a look and go to the toilet and at Santa Monica Beach to have a look and take photos but NO time to walk to the beach at all. The stop for lunch at Farmers Market was long enough. We had time to choose a place to eat, have a good lunch and walk around a bit. We were almost the 1st ones on the bus 7.45am and last one to get off 18h but saw everything we were supposed to see.

From the moment we were greeted by Nick on collecting us at the hotel, the tour was a hit! He has an incredible depth of knowledge, which he shared from the minute we started. He was very Customer Focused and where he could improve on things for us all, he did...ie there were a lot of people booked on this tour and it ended up split over 2 buses., whether this was his doing or the office it was far more comfortable than all crammed in one bus in the increasing heat. Water was provided all the time too. The tour covers a vast area and the traffic in LA being such a problem limits what stoppage time we could have. The hour for lunch at the Farmers Market was enough time, just, to get something. We were there on a Sturday, so very busy with locals, but during the week, the traffic would be worse. My only wish would be more stops at places to take photos, but the tour is already so full on, this would probably make it then too long! It is a definite MUST DO! You could never see all that we did by driving yourself in days let alone one day...Nick's knowledge was an invaluable part of this excellent tour with regard to both getting actually around LA and the facts about the sights we saw..and some! Thank you so much!
