Need to get away? Take to the countryside for a day of wonderful wine and sensational scenery.
You'll enjoy a scenic drive while taking in the beauty and sights of Santa Barbara after your knowledgeable and friendly driver picks you up from your hotel or residence. Stop at four boutique, family-run wineries, and try some of the most sought after Pinot Noir, Chardonnay, and other varietals that have made Santa Barbara wine country world renown. Around midday, your driver will set up a delicious lunch at one of the vineyards, or cellars, so you can enjoy a picnic before your next tasting.
Your last stop will be at a tasting room that specializes in pouring hard-to-find wines. Even though this tasting room is not surrounded by vineyards, it carries some of the most exclusive wines in Santa Barbara. Once your tasting excursion has finished, head back to your hotel or residence where you can take a much needed rest after a long day of pleasing your palate.

Wine Tour of Santa Barbara and Santa Ynez Valley April 1, 2017This tour provides an enjoyable day of wine tasting with beautiful scenery and no driving worries. We were picked up at our rental house in Santa Barbara at 10 a.m. for the Santa Ynez Valley tour that includes four wineries (actually, three wineries and one warehouse). Each spot was nice but Bella Cavalli, a beautiful thoroughbred stable/winery, was our favorite winery although Buttonwood Winery was also attractive. Our favorite of the six wines we bought was the "Rake Merchant," a red blend from the "warehouse" mentioned above a/k/a RAKE. The winemaker, Rob DaFoe, shared his knowledge and interests with us during a great session. The last stop, Pence, did not go well. First, we had to wait 20 minutes to sit down and to decide NOT to use the portable toilets which were disgusting. Once we sat down, we waited another 10 minutes for the somelier who was more interested in taking care of a competing group. The whole thing dragged on while we waited an extra long time between each pour. Funny that the winery with no bathroom charged the most for their precious wine. Our driver was pleasant and at one winery bought us an extra bottle of wine to enjoy when we were ahead of schedule. I probably would have given this a "5" but the Pence winery was insufferable.

Wine Tour of Santa Barbara and Santa Ynez Valley March 28, 2017Wife and I used Stagecoach wine tours 5 years ago when we were in Solvang last and loved the selection of wineries and info Kelly provided. So we came back and Kelly was our guide. Wonderful wineries, some not even open to the public which made everything that much more special. Kelly was more than a tour guide, she is a concierge. Very polite, helpful and knowledgeable about the area, wines, and wineries. Will use again.

Wine Tour of Santa Barbara and Santa Ynez Valley January 18, 2017From beginning to end, the people, the wines, the narrative and the scenery was the best day of our vacation. Kelly rocked. Knowledgeable, polite, respectful and so much more. Each winery and the host/hostess offered insight and above and beyond hospitality AND the wineries were diverse in both landscape, wines, and process. An amazing peek into all of the hidden treasures.

Wine Tour of Santa Barbara and Santa Ynez Valley January 4, 2017Comfortable, fun ride in a van with a couple of other people, just riding to some really nice and fun winery locations. Like our guide Tom said, each one was different from every other. Our favorite was Buttonwood where they had some nice wines and really friendly people but also some great shopping right before Christmas. Another great one was Bella Cavalli where the owner was so nice and showed us the horses on his ranch and told us all about the things he does there including the wines he grows on his ranch.

As luck would have it, Kelly was our guide for our second tour. The wineries we visited we're each unique and the wines quite satisfying. The host/hostess at each stop were informative and friendly. If we tour a third time it will be with Stagecoach.

Kelly was amazing and the group of people we were with added to our experience. From tasting rooms to the back of house production, this tour provided a great mix of information with terrific wine and natural beauty. Our tour guide was incredibly knowledgeable and provided insight and fun discussion throughout the day. I would recommend this tour to anyone. It was a great experience for my wife and I. -

We had the most amazing day with Kurt. He was extremely knowledgeable about the entire process of wine making and made us feel welcome and relaxed. We went to four vineyards and had lunch at the third which was a vineyard/ranch. The owner spent the entire time with us a we relaxed on outdoor couches watching the horses, testing wine and enjoying the warm breezes. I couldn't recommend this tour more highly. Door to door service. It is worth every penny. -

Can't say enough great things about Stagecoach! Our tour guide was Kelly - she was so super knowledgable and so friendly! The day was planned perfectly. We went to 4 wineries. Each winery had a different vibe and unique experience and all had great wine. Kelly was so helpful throughout the day, keeping us on time, loading up our purchases and making sure our names were written on what we each bought. Everyone in my group had a great time. I highly recommend Stagecoach if you want a personalized experience and want to visit small, intimate wineries. I can't wait to book another tour!
