In addition to the trademark footwork of this Korean martial arts style, you’ll learn complementary techniques that make taekwondo a well-rounded and much respected martial arts practice. Through the use of stand-alone and partner drills, you’ll internalize each move to the point that it becomes second nature. You’ll also hone your combat instincts with controlled sparring.
In addition to teaching you to defend yourself, taekwondo is a popular combat sport, and its practice offers fitness benefits such as increased core strength, flexibility, and stamina.
