You’ll become adept in the arts of To-Shin Do, a self-defense technique based on approaches handed down by nine ancient Japanese lineages and developed atop the peaks of three Japanese mountains. Updated for the modern world, this reality-based martial arts training program will teach you effective techniques to grapple, throw, and strike, plus maneuvers to defend against them. You’ll build the ability to take on one opponent, or multiple foes at once. You’ll even learn skills for fighting with sticks, blades, cords, and projectile weapons! Thanks to a supportive training environment and the basic tenets of To-Shin Do, you’ll also develop self-confidence and quick-thinking in the face of adversarial situations. See? Ninja School.

Founded upon the philosophy of the Okinawans, who used Karate to end fights as quickly as possible, classes will not revolve around sport Karate with point-based sparring. Rather, class will focus on technique and Kata, the foundation of all Karate. In the All Weapons Class, use martial art weapons such as the bo, tonfa, kama, and sai in your training. Learn how to use your strongest capabilities against your opponent's weakest defence -- you’ll be confident in your own self defence techniques in no time. We’ll see you when you’re a black belt.
