Embark on a 6.5 tour of the area at sunrise and drive the 38 mile ascent to the 10,000 foot summit of Haleakala, Maui's dormant volcano! Here you will see the island glowing in the bright reds, oranges, and pinks of the sunrise. This high elevation will allow you to bask in the beauty of Hawaii and appreciate the simple pleasures of a sunrise! From your vantage point, you can even see the Big Island of Hawaii from Maui!

After the beautiful sunrise concludes and daylight has broken upon the land, you will enjoy a full breakfast at one of Maui's premier restaurants. Refuel, get some delicious nourishment, and get ready for a little more of your scenic tour! You will see the rare Silversword, a plant found nowhere else in the world. When your tour begins to wind down, you will make an approximate one-hour stop at the "House of the Sun" visitor's center.
