Boxing isn’t just for jabs and hooks; it’s a full body sport. In this class, you will work every part of your body to become a lean, mean, boxing machine. You’ll build endurance in two key areas: legs and shoulders. Your leg strength will allow you to keep moving swiftly around the ring, while your shoulder strength will let you throw fast punches and pull your hands up to defend yourself. True hitting power comes from good technique, so you will practice the proper form for your jabs, crosses, hooks, and uppercuts. Train with the goal of your moves becoming smooth, natural, and confident, so that your time in the ring is spent fighting, and not thinking about every little thing you’re doing.
