The Asylum Escape Adventure July 31, 2017Great place to go as this was our first escape room experience. We won with only three seconds left with a little help from the guys working there. Thanks guys, you made our experience fun! We tried the amnesia room, and will be back to try the other room. The only down side is they only have two rooms which they say never change so once you have done both rooms there is no reason to come back.

The Asylum Escape Adventure July 17, 2017I have been here twice.. once in each room and had a blast each time. This last weekend I came with a group of 13 and we split up into teams and raced through. I suggest this for friends, families, and groups of all ages. The location is someone difficult to find, but once you find it you are in for a treat! Staff is fantastic and went above and beyond to help plan this group 'escape'. I have never been to another location, but would recommend this one without a doubt! I also love that it is a very obscure location, so fantastic for a surprise!!

The Asylum Escape Adventure January 6, 2017Five stars all day long!! When you first pull up, you will definitely be creeped out by the building.
We weren't sure at that moment since we never have gone to an escape room event before, if it was going to be super scary.
When we walked in.... That didn't change our minds either. And forget it, once you see the bathroom... It will make you... Well you just have to go see it. Lol
So the game is super fun!! If you are looking for something different to do with a group, look no further. Seriously. There are so many clues to solve in order to open looks, doors etc. We did the Chainsaw Bob escape room. It's challenging, and did I say fun already!?
This is for a group of 10, however if you are not a group of 10 don't worry about it. They will have other customers wanting to join in to play too.
We were a group of 6, and another couple came to this game. We saw two other groups and there were people that didn't know each other prior, however seemed to have made new friends.
Everyone works together in this game. It just naturally happens. It is interesting to see how people look at things differently from each person too.
Make sure you go to the bathroom before you enter the looked room. There are 3 rooms you have to get through in order to make it out. You have 1 hour. Good luck!
PS. This is great for team building too! -

The Horror Escape Adventure January 6, 2017First time writing a review...like ever, because this place was that cool. We were paired with two strangers and had to get along fast during this 60 minute thriller. It was very challenging and we had to get creative, but I am happy to say we passed on our first try! Definitely worth the experience for something we'll talk about for a long time

The Horror Escape Adventure August 13, 2016Came here as part of a department outing and team building exercise. We split into two teams of 9 and booked a special double-room event where we were able to have 1 team in each room. The puzzles are challenging but not insurmountable, and help is always a push of a button away.
Bianka was extremely helpful in getting the event set up and knowledgeable about the games when we invariably had to use some hints. She was also extremely accomodating as we went just over the 1 hour mark (apparently Chainsaw Bob had a flat tire on his way back to deal with us), but both groups were allowed to finish their rooms.
Would strongly recommmend for any group. -

The Horror Escape Adventure July 10, 2016This place was so much fun!!! We first did the chainsaw bob room and we won! It was great for bonding and working together as a team! We all loved it so much we got the group back together and dos the second room equally just as challenging. The group we went with all had a blast and the staff was amazing, friendly, and fun we really enjoyed our time.

The Asylum Escape Adventure May 28, 2016I'm an escape room junkie. I've done several before and this was one of my favorites! We did chainsaw bob room and it was great! The room decoration was on point and the clues were challenging, but not too outlandish. This room had 3 different sections and some of the puzzles were very creative. The room wasn't too decorated so the clues were easy to find, but it took some thinking to put together. There were 8 of us and we were able to escape with 2 minutes to spare! We used about 3-4 clues. Will definitely be back again to complete room amnesia.
Parking is free in the front of the building and once you make a reservation they email you a code to get into the building. Once you've escaped (or not) you can sign on any of the wooden furniture in the room! -

The Asylum Escape Adventure February 28, 2016I can't believe I didn't write a review for QQuest. I went there about eight months ago. My friend and fellow Yelper Sue B arranged an awesome event at QQuest. A total of eight of us were locked in a room called Amnesia. We were given an hour to figure out how to escape from the room. There were plenty of clues, but we had to find them. If we got hopelessly stuck we could call for help.
We started out pretty good. We all scattered around the room picking up everything, looking under and around the furniture, trying to find clues. I had a wonderful time playing prisoner and detective at the same time. I don't want to give away any clues since the games are still going on. It was a lot harder then we thought it would be. I will say that I would probably still be locked up, eight months later, if I had to find my way out of that room by myself. Talk about feeling vulnerable.
Thank you Sue for putting this fun event together, and for including me. I had a great tim -

The Asylum Escape Adventure January 22, 2016Went a few weeks ago with a group of friends. We had been wanting to go for awhile but we could never get in. We did the amnesia room. It was fabulous! We had so much fun. It was super hard and we made it out with 30 seconds to spare!
My only complaint was that we were a group of 6 and were told we would be alone. A random, alone guy was placed with us. It was a little strange having him in there and he really didn't contribute so didn't take away from the overall fun. But a little weird.
I would love to go back and try the other room. I have recommended this place to so many people. The staff was also fabulous, nice and helpful.
Go! You won't be disappointed! -

The Horror Escape Adventure January 1, 2016This review is sad for me because as of now I can no longer go to Qquest because I've gone through all of the rooms, but that doesn't mean I can't tell you about how great this place is.
Ok, first thing- it's in a random building that if you blink quickly you'll miss so pay attention.
Parking- you can park in the 30 minute parking and be ok. Confirm with them though. We did and were fine. Also, on the weekends you can park in what I believe is a bank next door.
Inside you'll see total chaos- names everywhere of all of the previous questers who have gone before you written on the walls. Once you complete your quest, you'll write you're name too.
You'll notice a list of times to beat. Figure out how many are in your crew, what you're doing (which you should know because you book online) and check out the time to beat.
To be noted: they offer drinks at a donation. The first time I was there they had beer, the second time they did not. Not sure if they had gotten rid of it or not.
Now, the rooms: Chainsaw Bob and Amnesia. In my personal opinion, amnesia is tougher. No spoilers here, but basically the idea of both rooms is to escape. You'll be given a paper to read and must search, figure out, deduce, and whatever else possible to figure your way out.
What I love is that it's not a physical activity l. It's purely mental. If you like puzzles you'll love this. It's an hour long and personally I wish it were longer because it's so much fun. You have the ability to ask for help but that adds to your overall time.
The staff here is absolutely wonderful and both times I've gone I have had an absolute blast. They love what they do and it truly shows. I wish I could go back, but the rooms themselves don't change. They only change small aspects of it so this isn't something you can do over and over again.
Pick your smartest friends (you and up to 9 other people) and go see if you can escape! -

The Horror Escape Adventure October 16, 2015My team won and escaped room Amnesia with 7 min 20 sec to spare and only used 1 clue! And in fact, one of the clues that was supposed to be found was missing from the room but we still made it out somehow!
We were a group of five all scrambling in the room. I don't want to give away any spoilers, but be prepared to crawl! Good thing I wore jeans! It is definitely expected to be on the floor searching for things, some bending involved.
Tips:
--- Think outside the box.
--- Don't go in with fear. Just do it.
--- Make use of the pen they provide. Write out stuff if you need to.
--- Touch every item. There's always something that would stand out.
Good luck and have fun! -

The Horror Escape Adventure June 29, 2015I was invited to participate in this mysterious team building activity by my friend and fellow Yelper, Sue B. Thank you Sue for including me in this fun filled day. I can speak for all of us when I say we all had a blast!
Sue booked Room Amnesia "aka" Asylum for a group of ten friends and fellow Yelpers. Unfortunately, two friends couldn't make it, but they were both missed tremendously. Shout out to Tamela and Allen. Love you guys.
Now, according to the QQuest website, the description for Room Amnesia is:
You ate that cafeteria sandwich someone gave you without hesitation. Unfortunately, they must have put something in it. Now you're stuck locked in a strange room with no memory of how you got there, and a note saying that the police are searching for you!
I can't get into the details of the game or talk about the clues. I wasn't allowed to take pictures of the room. But I can say that you are given one hour to escape. Before entering the room you are given a walkie talkie if you need to request a clue or in our case, a few clues. We didn't escape within the hour but we were allowed to stay a little longer so we could escape at some point. Okay, it took our group close to an hour and half!
A huge thank you to Julie R. who without a doubt was our star player. Without her, we probably would still be trying to escape. This game was mind boggling. We walked into this room as eight professional adults. I walked out feeling rather silly and hoping that if I ever am in a situation where I have to run from the police, Julie would come rescue me.
The price is a steal at $27. Granted, it is a one hour game but it's intense and worth every dime. I highly recommend trying this with a group of friends or coworkers. Because you are forced to work together as a team, there is no anamosity or sticking with just one person. It's definitely a group effort. Go into the game with an open mind and be ready for the challenge.
QQuest Escape is located on East Atlantic Blvd just East of 95 in Pompano Beach. I found parking right in front of the building. I can't wait to go back to play the other room. Definitely a must try!
