You’ve seen a handful of of documentaries and nature specials about living coral reefs, but it’s time you experienced life underwater the way it should be: though your very own snorkeling mask. There’s nothing quite like the experience of swimming along a living coral reef. The trip will begin with an orientation from a park ranger and a lesson on how to snorkel (in case you haven’t before). Then you will begin your journey as you swim through the dazzling waters of Biscayne National Park to explore sunken shipwrecks among living coral reefs. You will find yourself surrounded by a rainbow of tropical fish and other sea life booming with excitement. You’ll learn all about the complex ecosystem of the area as you see if for yourself through Jewfish Creek and the Keys. Note: Exact meeting location is given upon confirmation of booking. Snorkeling gear is provided. Wetsuit rentals are also available. Food and beverages are not include in the ticket price, but you are welcome to bring your own.
