I can't recommend this highly enough. Our tour of the French Quarter was a great overview of history, sightseeing, interesting tales, and recommendations for other activities and locations to visit.
Our tour guide, Joanne was a wealth of information and very professional. She had lots of suggestions for great places to visit, interesting spots for meals/drinks, and spaces to just pop in and have a look around. We loved it all. She had lots of good tips but we only had two days left to try to fit everything in. I recommend doing this early on in your visit.

Spent a very enjoyable and informative couple of hours with Natalie walking round the French Quarter. Nat was obviously knowledgeable and enthusiastic about the city. Really recommend that you spend some time on this tour. As it's pay what you feel is a fair amount, you won't get ripped off. In our case, we gave $40 and thought that was fair.

Unsure of our plans in New Orleans, we did not want to book lots of expensive tours that we might not back.... Found Free Tours by Foot where you pay the guide the price you think is fair..... Our guide Natalie Richards was very knowledgeable about the French Quarter and provided our group with a three hour tour. As you know nothing in life is free and we did make sure we took care of Natalie (lol) Thank you Natalie we had a great time.

Had a great time with Natalie in the French Quarter. She was knowledgeable, friendly and kept everyone moving. No pressure to pay, though we gave her a tip of course! In fact we are signing up for a different part of town tomorrow.

Natalie gave us an excellent tour of the French quarter. She kept me and my two teens, 13 and 15, interested throughout the two hours with interesting stories and facts of the history of New Orleans and the French Quarter. She is professional yet friendly and engaging and made it a very worthwhile time. She also recommended taking the old Apothecary tour a couple of hours later, which we did, and we loved it. She's a wealth of information about the area and a great resource for interesting things to do and good places to eat. I would highly recommend Free Tours and Natalie.

While in NOLA, I booked the French Quarters Tour. This was a very educational and fun tour. Our tour guide was very entertaining and engaging. She provided so many fun facts and great recommendations. It was a very organized tour and the walk was not bad at all.
