Garden District & Cemetery Tour November 23, 2014we took the garden district tour with Sarah and we all thought it was excellent. i would definitely recommend it and would take another of these tours. note - the pavement (all over) the city is horrible. lots of potholes and uneven pavement everywhere. be sure to wear appropriate shoes and watch your step! we saw so many people fall or almost fall.

Garden District & Cemetery Tour November 17, 2014We had a great tour around the Garden District with Kat on a beautiful autumn day. You don't walk far but the sidewalks are a hazard so be careful! Saw some beautiful homes and it was good to find out about the architecture and why/for whom they were built. Advice on restaurants was gratefully received. Worth doing

Garden District & Cemetery Tour November 10, 2014Our walking tour of the garden district was wonderful. Our tour guide Joanne was great. She was extremely knowledgeable about the city. We began with a tour of the Lafayette Cemetery which was very interesting, then proceeded through the homes of the district. Absolutely beautiful area to visit. My suggestion is to do a morning tour and then stay to eat in the area. Very relaxing. Commander's Palace is within the area. Glad to have found the tour online and will definitely do again and search within other cities. Thanks to Joanne

Garden District & Cemetery Tour November 8, 2014We took the Garden District and Cemetery tour with Scully, he was amazing!!!! Best tour guide ever!!! Great story teller, and so much history!!! Loved it, even my teenager loved it!! Had the best time ever. A fair price would be $35 bucks and more! Especially if you get Scully. Trust me, you will prepay 25 bucks for tours that SUCK, so make sure you take care of your guides, they are truly amazing. We will definitely use them again and again, in any city they are available in. Made the NOLA experience way more enjoyable. Thank you Scully!!

Garden District & Cemetery Tour November 5, 2014An excellent two-hour tour of the cemetery and surrounding Garden District neighborhoods. This is a pay what you like tour and it is equal to or better than the paid tours. Sarah was an excellent guide and was full of entertaining and informative stories. I enjoyed the Garden District more than the cemetery but I did learn a lot about the crypts.

Garden District & Cemetery Tour October 25, 2014I thoroughly enjoyed our tour with Sarah! She was knowledgeable, funny, and had lots of personal anecdotes to keep the tour interesting! What a great tour! Anyone who doesn't want to compensate her for a great tour should think twice! I will definitely book another tour in the future. Thanks for a great morning!!

Garden District & Cemetery Tour October 22, 2014amazing. best deal and tour in new orleans. took the garden district and cemetery tour. carl "denver" was our tour guide. it was the best tour i've been on in my life. appreciated his dry sense of humor and wealth of knowledge. enjoyed it so much, i booked the french quarter tour right after the conclusion of the tour. it was well worth the $20 tip. would have paid $50 for the tour and would have been worth every penny.
a few days later went on the french quarter tour with joanne. she was awesome as well, knew her stuff and gave us a great tour. i have nothing but good things to say about the free tours by foot. everyone should check them out. -

Garden District & Cemetery Tour June 16, 2014Loved our tour of the Garden District with Scully!! He grew up here and it was so fun to hear how things were and are now. It was a very hot day when we went and Scully did a great job of keeping us in the shade as much as possible. Great Tour, will look for Free Tours by Foot is other cities!

Garden District & Cemetery Tour May 7, 2014We did the Garden District tour starting at the Lafayette cemetery today.
Our guide, Sarah H., was as knowledgeable as she was exuberant. She delivered the information in an interactive and easily-digestible manner.
You can feel the jubilee and passion she exudes from delivering the information. Her having been through the cultural events of NOLA, she can describe and reenact it just as well during her presentation to visitors. She has a healthy respect for the locals and requests visitors to emulate the same respect for the local processions/manners when in the area.
These tours make it affordable for tourists on a budget.
Big or small, please give them what you can afford. It takes effort to make it seem effort-less. -

Garden District & Cemetery Tour February 3, 2014One of the highlights of our trip. Our tour guide, Denver, was very knowledgeable and a great storyteller. We left wishing we could take a history course with him! Can't speak for the other tours but I would highly recommend the Garden District tour with Denver.
