New Orleans is a hot, humid and sometimes unforgiving place where in the dead of summer the air takes on the quality of a crawfish boil. It is a long, drawn out fever that seeps into the bloodstream and compels even the sweetest from small town America to do obscene things. This is the real New Orleans which does not fit neatly into the category of "American" city. It is a black water port, Caribbean and lawless; settled by thieves, prostitutes, and the other criminally disposed. It is also Catholic and pious with Roman altars trimmed in gold. It is equally black magic, Voodoo, and the steady throb of African drums. New Orleans is sex and confession. It is sin and forgiveness. This is the place where God and the Devil shook hands so the party could go on. New Orleans is a city for the sinner and the saint. This is a tour that takes you through the sweat soaked madness of our best and worst. Get lost with us in this strange city and explore its dark past because this is NOT your grandmother's tour.

Let me tell you, this ghost tour could have been a big fail had it not been for the presentation from Eveian. He presented the tales in a very informative yet fun way, which kept the whole group interested. I highly recommend taking this tour, it introduces you to the old history of New Orleans!

Ghost and Vampire Haunted Walking Tour August 18, 2017A friend of mine that lives in New Orleans had recommended the French Quarter Phantoms for their Cemetery Tour, unfortunately we didn't have time but we did do the Vampire and Ghost Tour the night before we left. AMAZING - I still get chills when I think about it (in a good way?), we made a lot of stops and learned a lot, more than I expected. I highly recommend them for the ghost and vampire tour, but I'm sure you can't go wrong with any of their tours. Our guide (I believe it was Dylan) was completely enthusiastic about everything he was telling us which definitely added to the experience

Ghost and Vampire Haunted Walking Tour August 13, 2017We loved the cemetery tour! We had 2 kids under two, a 12 and 13 year old, as well as three adults and our tour guide was awesome. I believe her name was Lena?. She was well informed and didn't add a bunch of "fluff" or historically incorrect information just to be interesting (heard this from other tours while on ours!). Learned a lot but was entertained the whole time! Highly suggest this tour and if you can get her as a tour guide I would suggest her as well! Family friendly (even though it started off at a bar).

Ghost and Vampire Haunted Walking Tour August 6, 2017The Ghost and Vampire combo tour with Malika was FUN, informational, incredibly interesting, and a glimpse into the fascinating history of New Orleans.
It was clear from the start of the tour that the company cares about honesty, which made the stories all the more harrowing. I had goosebumps pretty much the entire time.
Malika walked the difficult line of making us both laugh and respectfully consider the stories behind the sites visited. I definitely walked away with a better understanding of the complex history of the city.
My friends loved it so much we're going to do another tour with the company tomorrow! -

Ghost and Vampire Haunted Walking Tour July 31, 2017Such beauty and history! So much better and pleasant than Bourbon Street! A lot of artist out and about in the streets. I enjoy jazz by the park and it's a beautiful side of town. You can watch artist paint and sell/ display their art work.
There are also a lot of art galleries you can hop to. Boutiques that carry so much unique jewelry and clothing always by with accessories. Just a pleasant quant place. You can also catch a ride on a horse and carriage, or hop on over to their market. -

Ghost and Vampire Haunted Walking Tour July 12, 2017his was a walking tour. We met up with the tour guide at the bar. The group was fairly large so there were two tourists for the day. My group got paired with a friendly man wearing glasses (I regretfully forget his name) but he was funny and had real knowledge about New Orleans that kept us all engaged. It rained a bit during the tour so we waited it out at a tourist stop where I was able to buy an umbrella. (How convenient!) Afterwards, we continued exploring the French Quarter, going into a cemetery. It wasn't spooky but was really interesting. That's where the tour ended. I recommend tipping your tour guide... ours was awesome!

Ghost and Vampire Haunted Walking Tour April 14, 2017Our Cemetery tour of St Louis Cemetery #1 was great. Robert was a fun and knowledgeable tour guide.
First of all if you want to see this famous cemetery you must be in a tour.
A guide makes it much more enjoyable and you will learn about the history of New Orleans, the history of the Cemetery, and the people buried here.
The whole notion of a cemetery is so different here that you should take the tour to hear them explain the process.
$16 well spent for a two hour tour! -
