Enter The Oak Alley Plantation -- it looks just like the movie, "Gone With the Wind." There you'll enter the harrowing history of slavery, viewing the quarters where humans were once entrapped into labor, and hearing stories of all aspects of the plantation life.
You'll also hear other facts about the previous owners of The Plantation and the restoration the place has endured. The very last owners were Mr. and Mrs. Andrew Stewart, and though Mr. Stewart died years before his wife, Mrs. Stewart created a non-profit organization to keep their gift open to the public for years to come.
What a history! Don't miss this incredible antebellum adventure.
