Ready to stuff your stomach and your head at the same time?
You’ll begin your journey by learning some fundamentals of Louisiana-style cooking thanks to a live demonstration followed by a savory lunch. Afterwards, you’ll spend some time walking off your meal during a 45-minute shopping break in the French Quarter.
Then the tour picks up full steam with an insider’s tour of some New Orlean’s top kitchens! You’ll find out the differences between Creole and Cajun while exploring the many cultures and traditions that have shaped New Orleans into one of the most original culinary hubs in the world.
You’ll also be sampling some of the famous cuisines of these famous locales, which includes stops at Antoine’s and Tujague’s, two of the city’s oldest and most renowned restaurants. But do you really need to hear anything other than, “second lunch!?”

Demo menu varies. Samples often include seafood gumbo, beef brisket, turtle soup, shrimp arnaud, and grasshopper cocktails. Exact meeting location is given upon confirmation of booking.
