Many people mistakenly believe that shooting movies with a digital camera is easier than with a traditional film camera. And while certain aspects of digital filming are more forgiving, it also requires a whole new set of skills and techniques!
This hands-on, intensive seminar is designed to give you a sturdy foundation in all aspects of a professional motion picture camera. You’ll learn all the key components that are used to build a professional camera system and you’ll get acquainted with the functionality of all pro tripod and fluid head platforms.
Discuss camera support, form, and function, and practice working with camera accessories too. You’ll also delve into lens design and function for a comprehensive introduction.
By the end of the class, you’ll have taken your filmmaking chops up a notch!
Note: Cameras will not be provided. Participants, however, are recommended to bring their own cameras for a hands on learning experience.
