We had our daughters w/us (21 & 16) & this tour was phenomenal! Gordon's choice of venues were terrific and his easy manner and relationships with the people made it all the more enjoyable. We saw sets at The Shrine, American Legion, and Paris Blues along with a stroll by the Apollo Theater. The performers were incredible and the Paris Blues tap dancer was stellar! If you love jazz, don't miss this tour. We have already recommended it to all of our friends & would go again when we are not getting up at 2 AM for the TODAY show. ;)

Toured with my husband, daughter and son-in-law who live in NYC. They had as much fun as we out of towners did. Went to interesting venues and were graciously welcomed. Service was good at all 3 places. Have recommended to friends.

We took this tour as a part of our school trip and we all had a very fun experience with Gordon. He spoke well and he was very interesting and he had tons to talk about and we all learned a lot from the tour. I recommend it 100%

I'm not certain what makes this tour so memorable - whether it's Gordon's relaxed, friendly and knowledgable manner as a tour leader or whether it's because the experience takes you to places you would not contemplate negotiating yourself. Whatever, it's a professionally organised tour that enables you to experience Harlem's jazz and culture first hand. Gordon has access to the inner sanctum of this area because he has such obvious respect from and for the people that we see and meet and this makes for an absolutely unforgettable first hand experience of the real Harlem.

We were introduced to several neighborhood jazz clubs that we absolutely loved. Our guide was full of information and made the trip fun and stress free. As a bonus, our group was very convivial which made the evening even more memorable.

As a true jazz aficionado, I had the time of my life with Gordon in Harlem. We were up close & personal with some red hot, cooking musicians. Meeting some of them was icing on the cake. I especially liked going to both traditional & improv clubs. Gordon shared great history on Harlem/jazz to provide more depth. Thanks Gordon for this soul connection. I'll be back one day...

I went with the Big Apple Jazz tour and loved it. Our guide brought us to places unknown for some great jazz sets.We visited The schrine, londel and Paris blue. Great musicians. The best was the first, the schrine where the band included 7 musicians. Nice. The tour has reserved seating near the stage. What is most interesting is that you visit places where you would never go by yourself. Definitely worth the trip.

I don't think we could enjoy the trip fully due to severe jetlag. Gordon is a nice guy with alot of knowledge and wit. Glad to have met him.

Been to several jazzclubs before, but never to small Harlem Jukejoints. Absolutely amazing. Gordon is THE guide, and this is "Something Else".
