This tour gives a whole new meaning to “going Dutch”!
Alongside a friendly and local guide, you’ll discover NYC’s rich Dutch heritage by exploring Upper Manhattan and the Bronx -- seeing sights in each neighborhood that link back to the city’s very beginning!
Along the way, you’ll see historic places like the land next to the Harlem river that housed the first European settler to the area, the Belmont neighborhood where “be-bop” hits were born, a Gregorian manor house dating back to 1748, and much more.
You’ll also see sights which are creating the history of today, such as the Cloisters, the falls of the Bronx River, as wella as the last remaining Dutch colonial farmhouse and the last remaining natural forest in Manhattan.
Take a trip to two countries in one day with this historical tour!
