Very informative & interesting. Staff knowledgeable yet entertaining. Enjoyed the variety of tasty brews. We were impressed with the cutting edge technology and expansion plans. Just get your products to Colorado!

A "tour" alongside 4 different beers and a got to keep the glass too- all for $8. Heck of a deal. They taught us a little bit about the history of Brooklyn brewery and about beer and how to drink it. After, we got a quick glance of the facility nothing too crazy.
It's free on Saturday; if you don't mind waiting on line for a couple hours. There were more people than I expected, almost 40 if I had to guess, but its still worth it.

Beer: I am not a beer connoisseur, so I cannot comment on their beers. However, I did enjoy mine!
Tour: The Brooklyn Brewery's "tour" was hardly a tour. When the tour started we were taken from the common area into another room where all of the tanks are stored. A tour guide spoke to the group for about 20 minutes about the brewery's history and answered some questions. He passed around samples of hops and barley. And that was pretty much it! We weren't taken into any other rooms and the tour was over. I guess the one good thing about the tour was that it was free.
Atmosphere: The bar and tasting room seemed to resemble a cafeteria. Nothing fancy, as you might expect. They had many picnic style tables, so if you go when its not crowded I imagine it would be good for a group.

We went and a group of 6 on a weekday lunchtime for the small batch tour. There were approximately 25 people there so we had ploads of space. The tour guide was hillarious and was happy to answer any of our questions as well as tring to get us involved. You get to try five or so different beers and then at the end you can buy some beer tokens (which never expire - so good for extra visits!) and get a couple of glasses of you favourite stuff. We got complimentray glasses and ended up buys a fair bit form the gift shop too.
Great afternoon and really nice to do something a little different than the normal tourist NYC stuff.

This used to be one of Williamsburg's best secrets. But, now it's so nuts you can't even get in early on a Saturday. The cute little "tour" is fun and quick. Can't beat the atmosphere and cheep beer. You can bring in food too.

UPDATED: Come here for a tour if you can! The people who work here are really informed and committed to beer, and I salute them in their quest for brew education! There are also some great events held here that feature a lot of locals in the food industry that really opened my eyes. Kind of a beer garden-meets-factory. A really great variety of beers that made me feel like there was something for everyone, or great for when you're in the mood to try different things (I made friends with the Blast) and the tour was really fun and informative. A cool change of pace from the regular Brooklyn bar scene!

It's a brewery, so when you've seen one you've seen them all. Don't bother doing the tour unless you've never done one. However, the pub room is a nice place to spend an afternoon. The place is loud and has a nice vibe. There's no food, but they let you order delivery, which in my opinion is better. It very much feels like an indoor beer garden if a beer garden only served one brand.

They offer 2 hour small group tours during the week commencing at 5pm. You get to sample 4 different craft beers and they provide a very informative tour. You can stay for a little while after the tour and try a few other beers and there isa small shop selling branded n merchandise. Near the brewery are some great pubs and restaurants.

Love the beer, love the tour, love the atmosphere. An absolute must visit if you're in the neighborhood.

Although there's an overwhelming amount of people here at any given time, there is ample space filled with plenty of great beer. The tours are informative, funny and very enjoyable. Beers are tasty. The only thing i feel confused on is the whole token system but that's something i can easily get past to get a nice cold beer.
Great place, do visit!
