Does making sushi seem like an intimidating venture? Take away the fear factor with a Sushi Basics class from Camaje Cooking. You’ll learn all the techniques of making everyone's favorite Asian dish. From the proper equipment you’ll need, to what the appropriate ingredients are and where to buy them. You will even go over how to master the art of the perfect roll to experiment with your own combinations. You no longer have to go to a restaurant to have one of your favorite foods at home!

Note: A glass of wine per person is included. All materials for this class will be provided.

Abigail Hitchcock is the chef and sole owner of Camaje Bistro in Greenwich Village, and co-owner of Abigail Cafe & Wine Bar in Prospect Heights. She earned her blue ribbon cooking diploma from Peter Klump's New York Cooking School (now The Institute of Culinary Education) and has worked at The Tea Box at Takashimaya in New York, Vong in London and at BBC's Good Food Magazine. Abby also has worked at Martha Stewart Living television and spent three years as a recipe development chef. She is a certified sommelier.
