Sherry comes from Spain’s oldest wine-producing region, extending from Cádiz to Jerez, and uses grapes such as Palomino Fino, Pedro Ximenez and Muscat of Alexandria.
Due to its wide range of styles and flavors, Sherry has the ability to complement bold flavors from Spanish olives to stinky cheeses.
In this class, you’ll taste six wines, such as Fino, Amontillado and Oloroso, as you explore the incredible versatility and flavor of Sherry. A master sommelier will guide you through the history of the region as well its geology and climate.
You will also learn about fortification and aging methods as well as classifications, providing you with an in-depth and eye-opening experience.
