After lunch, you’ll visit Standing Stone Vineyards to get a taste of three vintages of a single varietal, exploring the impact of aging on red wine. Finally, you’ll end your adventure at Damiani Wine Cellars, for a sweet ending comprised of a locally made chocolate paired with Damiani’s wines.

    Cayuga East Treasure Box Wine Tour

    Three wineries. One unforgettable experience. Unless you have an extremely low tolerance, in which case you might not remember anything…but we digress. You’ll be touring on the eastside of the Seneca Lake, starting with Bet The Farm Winery and Gourmet Market. There, you’ll enjoy a wine tasting paired with artisanal foods, and have the chance to peruse their extensive shop of local wines and other products. Afterwards, you’ll head to Long Point Winery, where you’ll experience a barrel tasting of Cabernet Sauvignon, before heading to their tasting room for a wine and chocolate pairing. Last, but certainly not least, you’ll take a trip to King Ferry Winery, where you may (weather depending) tour the vineyard to learn about grape growing. You’ll kick things off with an owner-led tour of Cayuga Ridge Winery, where you’ll stroll through scenic vineyards and get an inside look at the winemaking process. Before heading off to your next destination, you’ll enjoy a wine tasting with a cheese pairing. Lunch is held at the Copper Oven, where you’ll enjoy a mouthwatering pizza, topped with your choice of locally-sourced ingredients and fired to order on a french copper oven. Sufficiently fueled, you’ll make your way to Hosmer Winery, where you’ll experience a vertical tasting of the same wine in order to learn about the effect of aging and seasonal variation on flavor.     Fabulous Falls Above Cayuga

    Ithaca is Gorges and Waterfall Tour

    What’s up with Ithaca? Find out during this four-hour guided exploration! You begin by spending the morning on a driving tour of the city, visiting four different waterfalls, and exploring the gorges carved out by two waterways bordering the Cornell University Campus, Fall Creek and Cascadilla Creek. Highlights include a crossing of the 138-foot Cornell Suspension bridge, and a visit to Ithaca Falls in city’s downtown. Following the morning portion of the tour, you’ll head off to hike the Robert Treman Park, making your way through a scenic gorge that offers flagstone stairs, bridges, and more incredible waterfalls. You’ll find the hike to be suitable for beginners and family friendly, appropriate for children as young as six.
