Once described as the lungs of the city, Central Park brings a breath of fresh air to New York’s crowded urban terrain. Stroll through the world’s most famous park on this walking tour as you listen to the epic story of New York’s green oasis. You will visit historic sites such as The Plaza Hotel, Sheep Meadow, and the Central Park Zoo -- all perfect photo opportunities. The tour of the southern half of the park includes a stop in Strawberry Fields, a living tribute to John Lennon, and will end in front of the Dakota Hotel, where his great life was tragically ended. With over 843 acres of meadows, hills, ball fields, and bodies of water, it’s impossible not to find something to enjoy in Central Park.
Note: The tour meets at the Sherman Statue at 59th St. and 5th Avenue. A max of 5 people can book at a time as per our partner's strict group booking policy. If you are group of 6 or more and place multiple bookings to go around our partner's restriction, our partner will immediately cancel your bookings. As this tour is no cost upfront, you have the opportunity to name your price depending on how you value the tour, pay-what-you-wish tours are tours for every budget! This tour works on the honor system, so please understand that if you make a reservation and don’t show up without 24 hour notice, future tours will be placed on stand-by status.
