Harlem? There's a lot more to Harlem than just a bunch of basketball Globetrotters. Discover the streets where Ella Fitzgerald and Duke Ellington put American music on the world map. Where Cassius Clay became Muhammad Ali, and where Fidel Castro slept after being kicked out of a midtown hotel for having chickens in his room. On this walking tour, you'll learn about Harlem's dramatic history and visit its most famous sites. A few stops along the way will be Apollo Theater, Lennox Lounge, and the Schomberg Center. If you're lucky, you might even get to see the real Harlem Shake.
