High Line Park Tour

What to expect
  • Discover High Line Park, a former elevated railroad recently transformed into a beautiful park that sits above the city streets
  • Learn the history of the Meatpacking District, Chelsea, and Gansevoort Market Historic District
  • Enjoying cutting edge art and unique views of the city you won’t see anywhere else
What better encapsulates the essence of New York’s creativity, majesty, and love of change than the railroad-turned-park open air oasis floating 25 feet above the city streets? Welcome to High Line Park.

The 1.45-mile-long railroad structure operated from 1934-1980 as a vital line of freight transport for the Meatpacking District and industrial West Side. Decades later, it has been regenerated as the beautiful park you’ll tour, now as rich in greenery as it is in history.

You’ll behold the cutting edge art and architecture that make for the perfect supplements to an already unique experience.

Hovering above the bustle of the city life, you’ll enjoy a rare pocket of peace and vibrancy from an entirely new perspective.
