About this Activity
Note: The tour meets in Grand Central Terminal by the Information Booth on the main concourse, and ends at Rockefeller Center. You will need to bring $5 for the subway. There is a maximum of five people per booking. If you are group of 6 or more and place multiple bookings to go around our partner's restriction, our partner will immediately cancel your bookings. This tour works on the honor system, so please understand that if you make a reservation and don't show up at the last minute, that this might affect your future reservations.

We had a great time. John was just wonderful. His knowledge of not just Grand Central Terminal, but of NYC history in general, was very impressive. I still can't believe it was free. I would have gladly paid for the tour.

The tour was interesting for the most part and the tour guide, John, was keen and knowledgeable. We did shift from spot to spot with a certain pace around the maze of slots, ramps and side streets of the complex. I would have, however, much appreciated a more intent and in-depth history with architectural and public landscaping overtones. They were there but I would have given it more time. Instead we went for myriad anecdotes which made the tour light and fun, which is also a good option, one that probably more people are driven towards. My grade is a B-...
